    Mortgage-free Glee!
    I'm glad kitty is ok.
I remember paying £48 for my hamster to get antibiotics and fluids when he was ill. The receptionist was shocked that I was happy to pay that but he was our first pet we'd got after we married and meant a lot to us. He lived for 2 years after that and I'd have paid the same again for the extra time we had with him.
My family always said we could have bought 5 more hamsters for the money we paid but nothing could have replaced my Fred.

When our ginger whinger broke his sternum I picked him up and paid bill £800 and went and sat down, looked at receipt. Didn't match , went back to desk turns out I had paid for dog on account above  they sorted it. Was £300 !

I had pet insurance and so didn't have to worry but I would have paid it just to get him help.

    :)

Struggling to scan coke barcode as it's shiny. Also problems with taking photos of receipts as light is poor. But other time there is shadows. Any help welcome tia
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Quorn Lamb-Style Grills are £1.24 in M (showing N/A on msm). Not considered very good since A were £1 each on them recently. But £2.80 each and 3 for £5 in A (no guarantee they will compare vs M). A.com not playing ball for me at the moment - bringing nothing up when I try to see what's in the 3 for £5 on there. Msm has 26 - unfortunately some 'new' ones are showing on there and in the offer. If you can find a trigger and £2.80 x2 vs £1.24 x2 M? (I suspect there's 26 on msm and 26 on a.com though:(.) Never know - keep looking for me folks!:)

I also second this church. Unusual places I can recommend are Puzzlewood Forest, Chepstow Castle, Raglan Castle and the stunning Symonds Yat (off of a dodgy steep single track, 2 way road, but worth it!). If you like caves, Clearwell caves are about 2 minutes away from Puzzlewood. Regarding shops, Monmouth is your best bet. If you feel the itch for a glitch, Chepstow has a decent Ts :rotfl: Hope that helps.

Have fun! Good morning all :)

Great suggestions. Loving the sound of Puzzlewood. I know that all the castles in the area are already on the list. Particularly any 'undiscovered' motte and baileys that my partner can find indicated on an old map! I probably won't be able to resist a quick shop at T either. Does anyone know if the M&S nearby is any good for spending green redeem vouchers? - ie. does it have self scan? Thanks again for your help.
I am not young enough to know everything.

Yes I do have insurance but it has an excess so there's no point for one off visits, which I'm dearly hoping this will be! If she had to go back and get more treatment then I'd claim.

Vets nearly always advise anti biotics or anti inflamatories or both.

We got veterinary grade aloe Vera from Amazon so we can clean up any cuts, grazes or bites - worth checking them over very carefully incase they have been hunting and something bit back. It's always happening to our Sophie - once she was bitten on the very end if her tail, there was a bit of infection and eventually the end fell off!

Main thing is to make sure that they are using the litter tray - seeing and pooing and they are drinking and not dehydrated.

Was this for me bubbs? :o Thanks if it was. x

If it was I think I am catching things easily because of the long term antibiotics I had to take, my immune system is still not up to scratch. :(

Now what I was taking them for was definitely a stress related thing GP has called it my stress button before, when things get really bad I get a skin rash. But I am all clear now :D, had been for years too so I was surprised I got it again after so long. :(
Yes was for you :D hopefully will soon settle down;)

I never thought of that !

He says thinks about another three payments to get to the amount but I think be less cause been going hell for leather and I have a big birthday in summer and all donations are going in the pot. I can get something nice later.

He's going to look like grizzly Adams at this rate.

I do prefer Andrex but reluctant to pay the price for it now. No 9 packs in local coop. They had four packs but I swithered. I'll maybe get them later.

Oh wow, it sounds like you're doing really well with overpaying, good for you! If you partaking in his grizzly Adams look-alike competition gets the job done quicker, then great, whatever it takes to achieve your goal eh! :p

We've not overpaid this month because we bought a kitchen instead :( To be fair, we paid £660 for the whole lot, paid it off the CC in the same month and it's looking really good so far. It'll make the house worth more too, but it's still sad that we won't be getting one of those nice letters from the bank this time.
