Are they doing the promotion without the times magazine page?
yes as far as i know you can just ask for them.
They take your details and sign you up to their silly mailing list and try to get you in for a "follow up consultation" - yeah right you just want to get me back to flog me more products when i know very well I can get a better deal on them at boots.com!0 -

Hi, I was saving for a camcorder as well but none of the stores within travelling distance of south Wales have them. A couple of months ago I phoned around the stores but couldn't find any then phoned CS and was told there weren't any. I saw someone else's post about camcorders yesterday so tried CS again, he was going to check which stores had them so that I could pick the nearest but then he said ".... oh none of the stores have got them, it would appear we've stopped selling them"
Does anyone know which stores (if any) have camcorders in stock please? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question.0 -

Had wonderful plans for this weekend - off to Cardiff to do a bit of bootsing and other stuff, stay over night and then more of the same on Monday......
Shouldn't have gone...I'm from Gloucester.....
The train was delayed leaving, got to Cardiff and started getting messages from DD1 "the water's going off and round the corner is flooded out" She hasn't got my key so couldn't fill up the bath etc. Then got messages about the electric going off - freezer full of stuff
So spent all my bootsing time running round Cardiff buying water, big water containers, trying to get my mobile charged up (we couldn't get back to Gloucester by train or road) and I even went through Boots several times AND DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT ANYTHING!!
Saw the origins samples, loads of them waiting for me but priorities were to get back home .....somehow. Eventually got trains all over the place and finally ended up 10 miles away. Got back today, knackered and have spent all afternoon trudging around Gloucester with DD2 and buckets looking for water (all the bowsers are either empty or vandalised) WAAAAAAAAAH
Anyway I am going to Boots tomorrow come what may to get new vouchersand cheer myself up. Only two weeks till the water is back on....
Really cross about the origins things but ho hum....there will be others.0 -
gosh i think booots is rubbish at the mo!!!!! i went to check out the apparent sale and they have no7 suncream priced at £5!!!! like we got it cheaper than that when it wasnt a sale. i feel like a freak at the moment cos when i go into boots i think spending a fiver on one item is too expensive toiletries wise but before i joint this thread i would happily have spent more than that and not be bothered! All men hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, SEX, blah, blah, blah, FOOD, blah, blah, blah, BEER:wall:0
