You've been misinformed. I have topped up DD 02 payg mob several times in Boots using points from my advantage card. The last time was on Saturday.

yesterday I got the T&G wax 8.99 and the T&G shine spray 6.99, both went through for £7, but the 100 point voucher from the ACM would not work!! :eek: they tried it twice. in the end they put 100 points on manually for me

I did it yesterday - ask for a top-up voucher then say you want to pay with points. Does work, although I've had one instance where the SA got confused as she didn't know how or if it was possible so had to call someone over.

They've moved a load of stuff around upstairs in Oxford - and there is now a rack of the 50p off meal deal vouchers by the front door near the stairs.

It can be done. But I too have had SAs who didn't realise that it worked. just ask them to try and say that it worked before. i was overjoyed when I discovered this - never going to pay for my credit again!

I didn't really! It was pure fluke! I asked for a squirt (as you do) of the DKNY as I have been hankering for AGES when I was paying at the perfume counter! Then noticed the gift sets, then a REALLY NICE :eek: perfume SA started telling me about the price reductions and from there - hey presto, some bargains were revealed!

Just keep your eyes peeled and act innocent - ask for a price check to confirm the sticker price and take it from there!
