Can anyone help me please ? If you order something from dot.com that isn't available in store, and you decide not to keep it, can you return it to a store for a refund or does it have to be returned to dot.com. Do you have to pay postage to return it ?0

I just looked under the help> returns section on the website and it says that items can be returned free at a PO using the freepost label in your original order. It does say if more convenient you can return to store but some stores may not stock product/correct price.
Advantage cards gained will be removed it looks like too.
More info on the .com site if you need to read it in full0 -

I've taken things back to the store on two separate occasions. One because it was faulty & another because I'd ordered the wrong mp3 player. They were different stores and both were very helpful even though it meant they had to phone CS because they didn't have the item code to process the refund.

Just had a mailing with two points vouchers - 1 x Max Factor Mascara + 200 points and 2 x mascaras for 500 points...they have to be certain types though. One could get two, get the GWP AND £5 off!
Trouble is....I have enough mascara.....oh the temptation....I just want the GWP! :rotfl:
Ben - good plan - that's what I'm doing with my Bootsing! Good luck and I hope the stresses have all gone now!0 -

I had not too bad a shop yesterday that just got better this morning!!
From their sale shelves
Natural Collection Strawberry Bath Pearls = £0.90
Natural Collection Strawberry Bath Pearls = £0.00
Natural Collection Food Fizzers = £0.81
Natural Collection Food Fizzers = £0.81
Natural Collection Food Fizzers = £0.81
Natural Collection Food Fizzers = £0.81
Boots Complete Skincare Lotion = £0.54
Boots ActSkin Cleanser = £0.63
Mitchum Deodrant (x8) = 11.92
Tony & Guy Shampoo = £1.12
Sub Total = £18.34 (includes 10% over sixties discount on Boots own stuff )
Used
8 mitchum vouchers
100 points on £10 spend
75 points on £10 spend
100 points T&G (equivalent 12p)
100 points on Complete skincare (40p profit)
taking the total to £10.34 with 439 points with total savings of £10.15.
After reading someones post on here about the natural collection stuff being BOGOF and still apply to sale stuff I noticed that my bath pearls had worked, but the foot fizzers didn't. When I queried it I was told it was because it was old stock so didn't apply. (If the bath pearls hadn't worked I probably would have assumed sale stock was exempt)
It was only when I was thinking about it this morning I realised I was paying the equivalent of full price for old stock, if it had been full price BOGOF I would have got it half price anyway (hope that makes sense) so no benefit in buying sale stuff (if you see what I mean) so I decided to phone customer services to see if that was right or not - after all the sign does not say it excludes sale items!!
The girl was apologetic as she wouldn't be able to give me any of my money back but would it be okay if she added 1000 points onto my card.
As you can imagine, I reluctantlyagreed to this
So total spend was £10.34 with 1439 points :j :j :j0
