Wouldn't matter a monkeys. Certainly will matter even less over time.
I'm selling an mx5 at the minute and I've it advertised as one owner from new. V5 shows dealer owning it on day one, customer owns from day 2. Not an issue at all. Spoke to a bloke this evening about it and hecisnt even remotely concerned about whos name is on tax book first. He has arranged to come view it this saturday

They usually keep the log books for 3 to 6 months and claim that they have the vehicle in their possession in case they get audited by the dealership. I guess one option is to get in touch with the dealership and let them know that this 'fleet' company is probably breaching their terms and conditions?
The order form was emailed to me as a PDF. I signed it, scanned it and emailed it back to them.

The small print on that document may over ride the website small print. So long as they don't say they can supply a substitute etc you may have a case.
My bet would be they have a loophole for this clever con. You may also find the car is an import, intended to be sold somewhere like Cyprus.0 -
