Popped into poundland yesterday and spent £9 on cereal bars and cleaning bits. Went to aldi today for essential fruits, milk and veg. Spent £18.79. My five year old was so sweet. He kept saying today mummy we are only getting what's on the list and nothing extra. Which meant neither of us put any treats in that we didn't need. I am starting my new healthy eating plan tomorrow so that helped me steer away from the biscuits.
Half way through the budget and almost half way through the month!'

Well, after doing so well up to Wednesday, I feel I may have royally messed it up. Treated the family to Pizza takeaway following dd winning 3 events in city athletics comp. :j Cost £20 from GC budget (put £10 to from own spends). Then sensible Ald1 (and £shop) shop of £38.33 and £11.11 from Greengrocers followed by disorganised picnic buying of £16.42

Anyway, that's £85.86 this week bringing my total to £199.06.

One shop left and £100 so hope to come in under.

Hope you've all had a good weekend!
