    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
Finally caved in and did a "proper" shop on Friday, although I didn't bother getting fresh stuff as we were away at the weekend so will need to pick some bits up this week.

Spent £25.30 in total, mainly on restocking cupboards plus a £4.39 bottle of wine for a present and £3.79 on drain gel for a slow draining sink. I also bought a bottle of baby shampoo to try to un-shrink a jumper of mine - has anyone tried this before? No idea when I'll get a chance to see if it works it though, things crazy busy here.

Forgot to mention, when in Morrys this morning I notice Oykos yogurts from Danone are reduced to £1.09 for four and if you sign up for their newsletter you can print off a £1 off voucher. I get one every month. I usually suss out with type of yogurt is on offer then print off for that type. Will be buying some tomorrow.

    Thanks for this :)

It's as much tipping a large pan to scrape as moving pans that's giving me problems. I can't even do the scraping with my broken one. I have a slow cooker, but have never made a decent stew or minced dish in it (use it for gammon joints and whole chickens) - and I'd have the same problem with scraping it anyway.

I managed to wash my hair one handed yesterday :) Figured it was best to try before I went to the hospital, as if I got it wet it wouldn't mean an additional 80 mile round trip to get it replaced :D

I don't want to risk having to cut the trip short because of my wrist (very aware it'll still be weak), so I'm delaying it until next year - either heading out April or September. I'd not booked travel yet and haven't bought anything for it that won't keep, so I'm not going to be out of pocket :)

Sorry you have had to postpone trip - but think you being sensible and after all it might be for the best - these things often happen for a reason eh ;)

Very well done on the hair wash single handed, people don't realise how hard things can be.

Getting last out of pots etc - I used the sink. If straining pots etc just stand colander in sink and tip into. For stews etc, take out as much as poss with mug then put a wide basin in sink and stand pot at side of sink on a damp cloth (to prevent slipping) and tip over onto side. You can then reach in and scrape out with a spatula or similar :)

I do hope you are not in too much pain and are soon on the road to being mended

Good evening :) Had 5 NSD's since I last posted properly, which is pretty good. Spent my petrol budget already with 17 days still left of my month :o so will have to rethink that for next month, although it is a 5 week month this month. I have £6 left on my food budget :rotfl: I pretty much only need milk though so I reckon it'll be ok.

Wow, this thread has been super busy since I last posted! :o

I had another spend on 12th, of £26.25p, for stuff to last us until Saturday. We are going to Manchester on Sunday/Monday, so have a separate budget for those two days.

So that is another 3 NSD's to add to sig and £43.28 left to last us from 22nd to 31st... easy peasy! :D

Sorry I've not posted - or updated this month so will do so now. Sig is up to date and have food in already for this week and next. Need a fruit top up probably later on as eating up atm. I seem to overbuy one week then have to use up the next!

I promised myself I would keep up to date this month as didn't manage to last month!

HAven't caught up on thread as been away the last five weekends! Home now for a few weeks so being very frugal.

Take care and keep up the good work. I love someone's comment that "smiling isn't taxed" - so will do lots more from now on!!!
