I am fed up of buying goods, paying for delivery to then have it all messed up because that company uses Yodel!

I'd like to try compiling a list of companies that use Yodel so I, and anyone else who wants to, can avoid using them.

Please add any that you know of, and feel free to share your horror stories! I'll update this list as new additions are made, so you shouldn't have to go searching through...
  • AllSaints
  • Amazon (Non-Prime definitely - not 100% about Prime)
  • Argos (Rumours of courier change...)
  • Asos
  • The Book People
  • BT (uses multiple couriers)
  • Debenhams
  • Dunelm Mill
  • ebuyer
  • Eurocarparts
  • Intervino (this is company that deals with personalised coke bottles)
  • Jo Malone
  • Lakeland (uses multiple couriers)
  • Littlewoods
  • Mac Cosmetics
  • Nespresso
  • Pet Supermarket (uses multiple couriers)
  • Plantify
  • Rubber Sole (May have changed couriers?)
  • Sports Direct
  • Tesco Direct
  • Very
  • Virgin Media
  • Virgin Mobile
  • wonkydragon
  • Zavvi
  • Zooplus (but for extra you can upgrade to a different company - worth it!)

Just to point out that Yodel was named worst parcel delivery service again this year

Thankfully with Very you can order to a local shop if they offer the Collect+ service. Never had any problems with that.

Funny thing is that service is run by Yodel. However they seem to have a better reputation than Yodel themselves, maybe they use different drivers.

Probably same, but I guess more difficult to say with a shop that is open from 9-5pm that "no one was in".

It's a shame - the people on social really try to help with problems, but they're let-down by the frontline staff!
  • So many problems with Yodel in the Worsley area - better experience when I get things delivered to work in Manchester City Centre though.

Littlewoods can be added to the list of companies to use them - complained a few times to no avail. Rude staff, ripped packaging, broken goods. Truly terrible company.

My SD order, I paid extra for Saturday delivery - they've tried delivering every day this week!

To be honest, I used to think Yodel were the worst. Then I experienced UPS. Yodel do not have a patch on how dire UPS are in this area!!! Left hand can't talk to the right is an understatement.

I second this. I once tried organising a courier by UPS one time, there was so many hoops and restrictions. Once I thought I'd sorted it, turned out I had to do ANOTHER thing, but nowhere on their website did it say this.

Yodel on the other hand deliver my clothes and cat food (Zooplus) to work on a regular basis. Our office and entrance is hard to find if you've not been here before, and every time my parcels arrive on the day and directly to our company. I think we're just lucky to have a bunch with more than half a brain cell at the Borehamwood depot.

I'd just like it if companies declared who they used for delivery, then you have a choice - and have a level of expectation as to the outcome!
