seller saying postage wrong

For some reason my post keeps reposting. I have no idea why

Don't worry I'll delete the duplicates for you.
One of my posts did that once, it was like the sorcerers Apprentice they just kept coming
As for the original question, report the sellers for everything you can report them for including letting an underage person have access to their account (and I also think the 12 YRO is a red herring). If you report them they will be watched and maybe they will have problems if they ever try to use a second account to sell again.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Also keep them as a favourite seller so that you can have a look and see if they are keeping to their word
If they really didn't want to sell they could have just said "really sorry but the item has got damaged due to the weather conditions"
instead of creating a fabric of lies
Report them for as many things as possible, the non-perfoming seller, the unauthorised use of the account and the breaking of the t and c's
I refuse to believe that the father and/ or mother would not have had some sort of email during the auction period about the clubs, so they WOULD have known.
I'd be tempted to send an email back saying that you are concerned that other people may also have been put out by their son and that you are also concerned about their lack of internet security that allows a 12 year old boy to be accessing personal emails.
Be a b**ch about it. I would beDebt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
dont you dare tell me to leave a thread
OK if it bothers you that much then stay but dont make judgements on me when you havnt read my posts properly. The number of people on here who just seem to thrive on causing trouble and being horrible to people astounds me. Personally I think theres more to life but hey its your choice.0 -

I would leave them a really strong negative and then move on.0

what postage amount does the seller suggest ?
I would have a look through their completed listings and see if they have tried to sell them before so you can check they arent trying to pull a fast one, as you wanted them for a certain time though i would then neg and move on. As soo said, report them for all you can,

If what they're telling you is true (and I'm inclined to suspect there's at least some truth in it), it sounds as though the parents do not live together, and the father had bought the clubs for the boy and was furious to discover his mother had let him sell them on eBay (or that she had sold them for him). If it were just a simple case of the clubs failing to achieve an acceptable price, the seller could have said right away that the child did not have permission to sell the item (and could have offerred a grovelling apology), or they could have used the old "sorry, they've been stolen" excuse. It seems to me there probably is some sort of messy domestic situation behind this.Thats ok if you choose to believe what they are saying. As far as im concerned I think they wanted more for the clubs and are just looking for a way not to sell. This has been going on for days, do you really believe the 'father' has just found out. I find it hard to believe the 'mother' hasnt told the father before now. They were hoping I would refuse to buy because of the postage but that backfired.
I am not steamed up over it but feel they deserve some comeback for what they have done. I wont be dropping this so would appreciate some advice from people who know what my next step should be.
In any case, you and your husband have been messed around and missed out on the chance to buy a different set of clubs when you otherwise would have, so you can report the seller to eBay. When leaving negative feedback, I'd advise being as specific as possible so that if they do continue using that account, they won't be able to use the same excuses next time.0
