I put mine on the bottom drawer of the dishwasher cos I always put it on intensive 70degrees
I dont have enough cloths to warrant a separate wash
failing that i stick em in with the towels, or the OH's work clothes0 -
So,having a rethink here...
Is it best to wash underwear (knickers) on their own,and the microfibre cloths that I use to clean the WC on their own too?
And the cloths I use for the bathroom sink and bath could be washed together, all at 60°,along with the cloths I use for the kitchen?0 -
want to do my house ? really could do with a ocd personality0

I guess if you don't have much washing to do, it's easier to stick it all in together, rather than wait until you have enough cloths/teatowels etc for a separate boil wash.
I have a ton of washing every week for 5 adults - 4 wear a uniform to work, I have to have a clean set of clothes every day for work too, then there's sports gear and non work clothes. Bedding every other week. The shower can be on 10 times a day, so a lot of towels get used and I have 3 bath mats as they get so soggy. They use the tea towels to mop up spills, despite there being cloths and kitchen roll available, so these have to be done on a boil wash.
I tend to wash pants and socks together in a separate load.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game0 -

I agree, you have a lot of washing to do!I'm on my own,and have the use of a washing machine once a week. It's shared with the other tenants in the building. If someone has finished early though, you can sneak a load in on other days.
I also change tea towels once a day and use seperate ones for spillages in the kitchen, and change them once a day.I only do a wash of them every other week,in order to do a big wash, and at 90°.0 -

"Babies Don’t Keep"
Mother, O Mother, come shake out your cloth,
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing, make up the bed,
Sew on a button and butter the bread.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I’ve grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue,
Lullabye, rockabye, lullabye loo.
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo
The shopping’s not done and there’s nothing for stew
And out in the yard there’s a hullabaloo
But I’m playing Kanga and this is my Roo
Look! Aren’t his eyes the most wonderful hue?
Lullabye, rockaby lullabye loo.
The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
But children grow up as I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep!
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.

I buy very cheap clothes and bin them after use.
The covers for the steam mop go on a hot wash on their own, but I've got a little dog so wouldn't want her germs mixing with everything else0 -
lovely poem thankyou0
