Buyer wants postage refund- how much?

Postage and packing is not there to pay your fees and fuel costs etc. Which is against Ebay rules. But sellers do abuse it for their own gain!
I'd gladly hand a neg and low stars for taking the P... (and I wouldn't be bothered if they block me, as I wouldn't want to buy off them again) And I have never been blocked for doing a bid on any item. So being honest, doesn't get you 'blocked'
The buyer is your bread and butter, so why take the mick?
Also Free P&P means nothing. As the item cost would be hugely inflated, so put's the buyer off anyway. So no sale
To be honest I really fail to understand self righteous buyers such as yourself. If you go to a website to buy a product you want, you will often be charged post/packing/handling fees far in excess of the shipping cost. If you want that item and the total cost is acceptable you buy it.
Transfer that item to ebay and even though the total costs are still shown/charged to be the same, you now are a keyboard commando with the power to dink a sellers DSR's & leave negative feedback etc etc.. What rock did you climb out from under???? perhaps you should get back underneath it..0 -

But when you look back to page 1 of this thread there are posters, "Janb5", who calculate items to the exact penny, and believe it is some kind of falsehood to add on anything at all.
Hi, it`s me! I don't think it is some kind of falsehood- just irritation that some sellers add a ridiculous premium and then hide behind this perception that" well the buyer could have bought elsewhere so it`s ok to hike the price up....." I do subscribe to giving a refund if the postage is unexpectedly cheaper as the buyers think you aren't going to rip them off! This topic is going to run and run but I do believe that buyers expect fairness and are not prepared to fund `extras` such as your trip to the Post Office.
Could I make a plea for some posts to have correct English and not`there` for `their` and words like seller`s ,fee`s and poster`s . It`s very boring to read and it is almost considered de rigeur to write poor English.0 -

It's a business....course I accept it.
Private buyers are not a business, they are not forced to sell on there. They choose to. Quite different isn't it.
I have every right to leave Neg/Neu and low stars if I'm not happy. Poor packaging, turns up ripped, wrong name/postcode. Then have the cheek to over charge me. What should I do? Give glowing feedback?
After all isn't this a 'moneysaving' website? Not promote everyone to rip buyers off? Hardly moneysaving.
I haven't been rude to anyone, so your attitude it quite amusing. Sometimes the truth hurts eh?Always open a case if your unhappy with a transaction :money:0 -

Which are over priced and used to pay there fees etc. Against Ebay rules is it not?Always open a case if your unhappy with a transaction :money:0 -
Not against ebay rules as they now collect their 10% on them and commandos will soon be unable to hit sellers (biz & private) on post/packing DSR's.
What's the address of your rock?? I'd like to block it..0 -
