And what does that have to do with warranties for repairs not being implied as transferrable to subsequent owners?
Put down the shovel.
Like I said in my first reply before you drew out the discussion to the nth degree. It depends on the service garage. If they will transfer their warranty over. So call and ask. Most repairs come with 12 month warranty. They're almost certain on all engine work.0 -

OP has no, and never has had, a contract with the original repairer.
