I have been foundering about, trying to complete my father's confirmation. This thread has been so incredibly helpful. The template confirmation form especially so for me. Thank you so much to all the contributors

The Confirmation has been bounced from the Sheriff Court without any comment. I used my sister's maiden name rather than her married name in the declaration which I have amended. There are two executors; myself and my sister. I just wanted to check I had the wording of the declaration correct. I have in Paragraph 2 of page 2 "My Name, My address and My sister's name her address conform to said will dated XX XX XXXX herewith exhibited and docquetted, signed as relative hereto". Is this correct?

Can we clarify

Have either yourself or sister moved to a new address since the will was written?

Have you explained the change in sister's name in the required format at any point?

As the declarant executor, your name and address is entered into the box at the top of page 2 rather than in para 2. 

Para 2 could read so:

That I am

along with [sister’s full name] residing at [sister’s address] the executor nominate of the deceased conform to his will dated [xxxxxxxxxx] which is herewith produced, docquetted, and signed as relative hereto and that myself and the said [sister’s full name] are both children of the deceased. In said will the said [sister’s full name] is named [insert will name], her former name.

This assumes that your father is also the father of your sister and that there are no errors or other name or address differences in the will and that you have the original will.

You might wish to post a redacted copy of the C1 for other comments.
