Q. Can you send chocolate to the USA

Hi Guys,
Thought I would send my niece some Chocy to her in the USA (as she has gone for the summer - camp america) and wondered if this is still allowed, also what is the best way to send it???
If anyone knows I would appreciate your comments.

I have done so with no problems. I just sent it normal airmail with 'candy' wtitten on the customs declaration but it was quite expensive as the stuff I sent was heavy0

You read my mind. My sister is also at camp america and was in thorntons the other day and there is chocolate in there that she loves, was going to buy some but didn't know if i could send it or not.
so will be out today now and make her up a little package of things, including the chocolate :j

American chocolate particularly Hersheys (in my opinion!) tastes absolutely vile!Don't they have any chocolate in the US then?
US Customs allow chocolate to be brought in when you're travelling in person, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to post it.
