Ohhh your baking sounds lovely Sylvia - love flapjack!

Hope you hear from your DS soon Sheils - must be an awful worry! I seriously don't know how we used to manage without mobile phones! I don't use mine loads but I feel lost if I don't have it with me when I am out. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can call for help if I need it (and it is charged!)

You mackerel tea sounds lovely FF! I love mackerel!

It started off cool here too but warmed up by mid morning. I think the early mornings are going to be cooler from now on anyway with Autumn almost on our doorsteps! Not a bad thing though - I quite like the fresh mornings and cooler nights - especially for sleeping! It is really getting dark now by 9.15pm and as I am an insomniac and up in the early hours, I have seen a huge difference with the sun rising too. It used to be light at 4am and now it is still pretty dark after 5am! fall-colors-smiley-emoticon-emoji.gif

Having a relaxing night watching the soaps and then I will choose between the Great British bake Off gingerbread.gif or 100 Year Old Drivers (which looks to be quite funny!) Enjoy your evening xxx old-lady-driving-smiley-emoticon.gif

Any news from DS sheils ? Hope he arrived safely xx

Ooh Sylvia I wish I was over your way today! yummy, sounds like you've had a good say cooking!

I got a text Sax, not sure if it was from same one but it says my name then ..'to confirm you entry to win a new ipad2 text back yes to 85222' ...then under it says...'please ignore if not requested £3 per week! then has a number 03302231767....so another scam one!
I also got a call from sky TV which I expected as I entered a comp last night and said I didn't have sky! :o

Nothing in post but I've been to town and bought myself a cardigan ready for cold weather! :p So much for me getting kids shoes in!
We are going to flamingo land tomorrow so that will keep kids happy for a day!

Oh yes now I know what they are! The kids were fighting over them from the cereals, we have a few around the house which jasper keeps trying to get hold of! I said to DH they were ideal for stress balls! :D
He did some plastering today when I came home, there was mess everywhere! :o My poor plant was covered in plaster!

If anyone shops at morrisons there is a voucher in sun tomorrow for £5 off wys £10 on meat & fish, valid until Sunday :)
