courier bought the kids travel set this morning & it's
a beaut :j got a pillow, towel, changing mat, blanket
cuddly toy etc in, says it's worth £50 :eek::j
know one happy lady who's going to love it :j
also got some free special k crisps
they're for me

Fred has just won some headphones from a daily so off to have a look.

Rain has stopped but not a good weather day here today.

Back from town and off upstairs to do some more packing.

Hi everyone,


Back home now. Some lovely pics today.
Have had a lovely little break to Hartlepool which was pretty good to us weather wise although there was a bit of a thunderstorm first thing this morning. We went to the Penshaw Monument on way there which was quite a steep climb. Been meaning to go there for a few years as we kept seeing it in the distance and never going to it.
Our hotel was great with friendly staff and an beautiful setting by the marina. We had a wonderful view from our bedroom and although we had be warned about the renovation work it didn't affect us.
Had a lovely visit to Seaton Carew yesterday for a fish and chip lunch with Fred and Sylvia which was fun and food was great too. Thanks again for arranging it Sylvia. Went to Hartlepool Museum this morning which we enjoyed (especially DH!) and then went for free Beefeater Steak near Darlington.
Had a tag on FB and have won a crime novel which DH will like. There was a packet of Cracker crisps and a Flash sample waiting on me when I got home too.


Well done to you FF and to Fred on the wins.
