I've vacuumed the stairs, livingroom again & kitchen again, finished the dusting off in the livingroom, scrubbed the coffee table, and put through a Mr A delivery for tomorrow lunch time. I have 3 bags of bread flour coming so I can try and make subs for DD's lunch, £1.50 for a bag of bread flour verses £1 for 2 subs means I'm going to be spending Sunday afternoon baking! I've added a bunch of sweetheart roses to the list as well. The roses I got for Easter are starting to go brown so I'm going to replace them, they've done well lasting 3 weeks and £2.50 is not going to break the bank
No alarms needed tomorrow, but I've set the 8am one on my phone as I don't want to sleep in too late. I'll clean out the fridge in the morning as I have loads of chiller stuff coming thanks to DDs cookery stuff. She's asked if she can make another cheesecake so I couldn't really say no could IAfter the laundry is done and the shopping is away I'm going to wash the kitchen floor instead of just mopping it. Its really disgusting with what looks like tea drips from DD's morning cuppa
Tomorrow afternoon I'll finish the ironing as I'll have uniform to do anyway. For now, I'm off to have a bit of me time :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

but I certainly stayed awake for the whole concert - it was exceptionally good, and DH enjoyed it too :T:T
LW, sounds like Jasper is coming on well.
Glad you've all coped today, bossy.
I am thinking of planting runner beans in a very large terracotta pot which my friend brought me yesterday, but need to decide where to put it before I start filling it with compost. There isn't really a space for it in this garden where it will get enough sun - the mini-greenhouse is in the best place, but I want to grow a couple of tomato plants in there. Maybe I'll just grow beans up the fence instead and keep the pot for hostas in the shady yard area outside the back porch.0 -
Morning all - late this morning - had an evening in with bottle of wine:o and couldn't get myself out of bed this am!
Spanish chicken was lovely - quite easy to do and everything in the oven at once so not much washing up!!!!
It has rained all night so won't get in the garden today as it's sodden - will breakfast and try and get some more of the list done today as well as some us time watching the Grand Prix qualifying.
Have a good day everyone.xxJuly 16 £95/£200

Morning all, have just been catching up with this lovely thread, always makes me smile how nice everyone is to each other. So hugs where needed, and well done to Jasper. LittleyDog is scared of wheely bins which makes walking on collection day a whole lot of fun when she wants to make a detour into the middle of the road. Good job we live in a quiet village.
Well, have had a lie in and woken up with no GUAG. Good job I've been happy with what I've achieved this week although I've not completed the lists.
So far today I have cleaned the fridge, done a meal plan and sent shopping list to DH.
I need to:
wash up
make soup
make fruit salad
make prawn mayo
walk dogs (weather permitting)
hoover and mop through house
I don't think I'll get out in the garden today given the forecast. Anyway all I seem to be doing is getting snails away from eating my veg. We'll be lucky if we actually get to eat anything from the garden this year.
Right better get a move on. Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

I haven't watched it for years but did this week. I'd be interested to know what you thought - OH and I thought it was a shambles.Morning all, have just been catching up with this lovely thread, always makes me smile how nice everyone is to each other.
^^^ Wot she said.
Tottering mountains of paperwork will be tackled again today. OH is gearing up to go to Cannes for filmy things next week so I thought I'd have the house to myself as both lodgers were due to leave and I quite enjoy that. One of them has now extended his stay by a month, so the money will come in useful but my lovely extended singleton-fest is cancelled.Better is good enough.0 -
Morning all
washing on line, more in WM
I too hope to deal with tottering mountains!
