Right, i've got little one up, fed and dressed...i'm still in slobs though as going to tackle the bath and shower whilst she does some drawing. Also did a bit of a food audit and have made a list for shopping later, trying for no more than £25. Used the last of the potatoes, which had started sprouting, and a large yellowing leek, along with some garlic to make a leek and potato layered bake for tea. Not for me as too many carbs, although i might have a taste to check it's ok before feeding it to the rest of them. Off to the bathroom, oh and first washload on, hoping it stays sunny0

Pigpen, healing vibes to your friend Phil and also to you and Pixie. Yay! for Dot's nursery place!
Thinking of Bossy today.
Welcome to newbies and returners!
Where has the morning gone?
I have sorted a couple of phonecalls, sorted the rubbish and been through all the bins and bags (compost, black bin, paper/card, other recycling), as well as looking under furniture and down the side of the sofa and under our bed, in the search for DH's ring, but no joy in any of these places.
Bed has been stripped and I'm about to go and hang it all out while it's sunny and blowy, then I must eat frogs.0 -
same here iona, ive did my shop and recycling run, made a few phone calls hung some washing out and set another load in the wm. then ive had a few texts to reply to (one of them turned into a game of tennis so a phone call would probably have been quicker)
done half the washing up so need to finish that and then think about getting changed for work.
must do better this afternoonSPC~12 ot 124

I've worked hard today, unfortunately not in my own home
Started with a new customer at lunchtime and their staircase is completely open, no banisters! I have terrible balance after a bout of labyrinthitis and I was cacking myself trying to carry the vacuum upstairs. Managed not to break anything or kill myself though
My washing basket had about six items in it yesterday and now it's overflowing! That's what I get for demanding DSD pick up all the smelly clothes from her floor I s'pose. Cleaning cloths are having a quick wash now and then I will chuck another full load in before I collect DS2 from school.
I need to go to Ald! on the way to dropping the boys of with KH for the weekend. Struggling for meal ideas yet again and DH is as much use as no use on the matter.
I hope today has gone smoothly for you, bossy xx
How's your DD1, piggers? Posi-Phil-vibes while I'm at it.0 -
Amazingly I have hoovered the entire house, bar the living room and dusted DS1's room whilst he moved and put everything away,we also choose the fabric for me to finally make his blind.
Just having a cuppa and then I want to get the other 3 bedrooms dusted before the boys come home from school and get started on cleaning he bathroom.
Some washing in and dry already and keeping an eye on the rest so it doesn't either blow away or get soaked in a shower. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks Dusty - I did enjoy my rest - then got going - whirling dervish-itis here today!!!
Washer on
Bins emptied
Bathroom and floor blitzed
Sorted some boxes for CS
Enormous paper frog eaten - feel so much better now
Another paper frog ready to be eaten up later (not looking how many more to go though:o)
Sorted banking folders
Sorted monthly correspondence folder ( I had forgotten I had that!)
Sorted paperwork re holiday and future w/ends in Dusty-land.
Waiting for DH to get home - (Friday early finish) and then walk to Mr M for a few bits.
Got a Hairy Bikers Spanish Chicken recipe to try from their slimming book so need smoked paprika.
Have a good evening everyone.July 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200
