Handsome boys Mumto5, I hope they have a great night and don't get too roaring drunk ;)

Dinner made and decluttered, WUDUPA and swished the broom around to catch the detritus. I need to make sandwiches for tomorrow, if I could have one household fairy to do any job for me, it would be to make the lunches. DH often does it but he's out and doesn't look good in a tutu :rotfl: so I'd best get on with it.

AF is on her way and I'm cramping like a good un :( Thinking about putting up the ironing board, that may be as far as I get though…

Some cheeky mare has just offered me £20 for the trampoline! Pfft. Told them they were too late.

It's the funeral tomorrow :( she wanted people to wear a touch of pink and I found my nice top with the pinky dragonflies on. In the laundry basket. Gah. So I've just run it on a 30min cycle and hung in airing cupboard. I dug out my (pink) brolly and painted my nails (pink too).

So I won't be around at all. As soon as DS is in school I need to get changed, get DD to my mums and then leave for inlaws. I will be collecting both small folk on way home, then straight into dinner time. Think we need an easy tea tomorrow. Followed by a DVD in bed and a large glass of pimms.

Just spoke to MIL and she's suggested we don't talk about the children too much, she feels very aware that they haven't been blessed with small people and despite our loss, we really are the lucky ones, bless her.

Hope we get a good nights sleep tonight...

Hugs and vibes to all :grouphug:

Well I spent most of today working. This afternoon, except for when I made coffee, I worked none stop for a good few hours, then DD came home and it became bitty work but the upside is DD has completed all her homework and took herself off to bed early to read :D

Its eerily quiet around here. The main road nearby is closed further along due to an underground petrol leak so a lot of the traffic noise isn't there as buses are diverted. It closed around 2pm and they still haven't sorted it! Happy I decided much earlier in the day not to run errands tomorrow as the buses that are diverted will drop me off 10mins walk from my house, and the other bus route will be packed with people not wanting the 10min walk if the diversion is still in place as well as the usual students :rotfl:

Tomorrows plan is to clean the house top to bottom, finish the ironing, book a delivery for Saturday so I can have bread flour in to bake rolls for DD (£1.50 for a bag of flour or £1 for 2 rolls....I know which I prefer!) and anything else I can get done. I think the tunes will be cranked up loud ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Bossy.. your MIL sounds as lovely as you.. you are always so considerate of others feelings xx I hope tomorrow goes as smoothly as these things can.. big hugs xx

Can I beg some flylady healing/painfree vibes please? My mums friend, Phil, who we have known many years, is desperately ill. He was airlifted off a channel ferry a couple of days ago having had a massive heart attack and is currently ventilated and it's all touch and go as to whether he pulls through or not.. Whether it is his time or not we'd like him to not be in pain or suffering whether that brings him back to his friends or sees him pass to those who have gone before him. He is only in his mid-50's so not an old man. (and he looks like Santa!)
