Just to bump again to see if anyone has used Factory Beds Direct/John Ryan please?
I have :) I was looking to replace our king size mattress and husband has back problems.

After speaking to them I ordered (can't recall the name of the product, will check later) it has springs and latex (vague I know)
It has been a dream, must have had it for about 3 years now and is still as good as the day we got it.
I would recommend them 100 %, the only negative I experienced was that I didn't receive a receipt when I submitted my order but this was corrected when I contacted them and (apparently) at the time they only had part time office staff.

I believe it was this type http://www.factory-beds-direct.co.uk/mattress-sho/king-size-mattresses/origins-pocket-latex-1500-kingsize-2

but I believe their supplier changed because they were having issues with the previous supplier.

Initially I was concerned as I didn't want a mattress that left you feeling hot in bed like some reviews of memory foam state. The latex doesn't leave you hot.

Part of the Furniture 500 Posts Name Dropper
Mine's somewhat cheaper than some that have been mentioned above - more in the 550-ish price range, but I'd highly recommend it.

Sealy Napoli 1200 Posturepedic - tried and purchased from a local independent supplier, so I can't comment on the companies mentioned in this thread.

It's a firm base, with different depths of softer 'pockets' so your body doesn't go numb, and has re-inforced sides so it doesn't squish down and collapse when you sit on the edge. I needed more support than memory foam gives you, but not something that felt like I was sleeping on concrete.

Had it for a little over two years, and it's still as good as new.
