Tiscali broadband -very less speed for me

    Who knows with Tiscali, as communication with customers is not their strong point! If they can't or won't improve your speed leave ASAP.

    If i leave tiscali wont i have to pay for remaining contract period. How can I find which other companies provide unlimited usage internet.

    lady on this page has claimed she got out of the 12-month contract by claiming the customer service was so abysmal she couldn't be considered a customer. Nice one!

    Am currently researching other peoples' experiences as I'm one of the thousands of people who tiscali are charging even though we've switched to a different provider. I cannot believe the cheek of these people!

    it would appear so long as you don't back down they will eventually. no-one seems to be reporting that tiscali have taken them to court, although I'd fight shy of letting them go as far as appointing a "debt management company" (cute word for a bailiff) as such organisations are, by definition, "blind" to you and simply carry out the orders of whoever hires them ... if they've been given wrong instructions they assume you'll sort it out in court. go to a solicitor instead. seriously: it's illegal to charge for a service you're not providing and one well aimed solicitor's letter will solve it.

    that's my current thinking anyhow... may return later with more news...
