Going great guns Ed. I bet Mrs Ed is frightened to stay still in case she's photoed and stuck on ebay :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0"Do what others won't early in life so you can do what others can't later in life"0

Well done Ed - you are doing great.
Hope you managed to get some sleep...

Haha - she's safe enoughHope you managed to get some sleep...
I did thanks MCI, but not enough. I'll be in bed early again today and will lie in if I'm able to work from home on Friday.
Survived my early start, even if I did have an uber unhealthy breakfast of two greasy bacon rolls. I have a bizarre cafe near work that sells *two* bacon rolls for £1.70 - you can't buy one!
Feeling quite cheerful re. savings this morning - got the contract note for our first investment and the extra money from the KitchenAid means that we'll be saving at least £115/day for the rest of the month :T
Now to finish off the three reporting packs, publish them and save the universe...0 -
Happy Friday guys and gals! :j
Working from home, having a leisurely lunch break, bored waiting for a courier... My plan for quiet and productive working time has been somewhat flummoxed by a) a giant scaffolding being erected around my building  and b) my neighbour's crap violin skills.
A good week for freedom (the total would have been higher, but Mrs E has been given a short term £200 loan from savings to turn around a matched bet).

Hi Ed,
Sorry to hijack your diary but I wanted to ask how easy you find matched betting?
It is something that I am seriously considering at the moment and have been reading around. Its sems very simple so long as you match corrctly, but am worried I am missing something.
I think I will be giving it a try on a small scale (at first) and see how it goes.

In addition to the wasted (beautiful) day, I look like an idiot to my eBay buyer (who can then go on to rate me accordingly) and a different courier at short noticed will cost twice as much. Furniture kicking mad here, off for a run before Mrs E bears any more of my bad temper0
