Did you use a recipe for the shepherdless pie?

Some kind soul posted in on the forum, but I forget who! Search for it, there can't be that many mentions. I made a few small tweaks, because I'm an instinct-driven cook :)

Didn't sleep a wink last night, so today was hellish.

    Hi Ed

I‘m a newbie lurker and love your thread. I too am working on making enough passive income to have more choices in my future. (I currently have 3 BTL‘s, 1 of which is already MF, and am hoping to become mortgage neutral wtih shares etc)

Have you been on the Mr Money Mustache website? some of his ideas are a little extreme, ie its Ok to wear a shirt something like 10 times before washing it, eek! But the basic ideas make complete sense.

Good luck with your journey, look forward to reading more.

    :)

Yes, I have seen that website thanks Lyndsey. I like his tenacity, but he does seem to be falling victim to delusions of grandeur in his old age ;) Wearing a shirt 10 times before washing it? There must be something wrong with his pores!

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I have a lavender spray that I put on a handkerchief inside my pillow case if I'm struggling to sleep. Freshly laundered sheets help too. Cool but warm at the same time.

    Freshly laundered sheets help too.

Freshly laundered sheets are go, we've rotated the mattress and I'm off to open the bedroom windows to make it cooler. Currently relaxing with a decaf coffee, had c. 50% of my usual caffeine intake today as well.

Made it through work (just), was feeling very tired and need to get up at 0600 tomorrow.

KitchenAid sold for £220, sold another DVD as well. Hoping to work from home on Friday to catch up with some mandatory training courses (and hopefully a courier for the KitchenAid).

Have identified a couple of watches that can probably be flogged - they're nice - but do I need 3? :rotfl:

*Edit: and a couple of computer games that are accidentally collectable. Apparently I have very niche tastes ;)
