Recycling out for the 3rd time in 3 days, we consume too much. I live in awe of the zero waste evangelists ('this jam jar contains all the non-recyclable waste that our family produced in the last 6 years' types :rotfl:)

I would not recommend it but basically the chess pieces are shot glasses and when your piece is taken you have to down your shot. After a while we thought it would be fun to make them flaming sambucas. I nearly lost my eyebrows cos I was so drunk I forgot to blow it out :rotfl::rotfl:

Made good progress with the decorating yesterday, have always liked daffodil white

£1.87 OPed, trying to stop myself grumping as Mrs E gets DD to sleep (can't do anything until she's in bed, decorating the landing outside her room!)

My S&S ISA's value has increased a whopping great 7.5% over the past 10 days. Up £667.20. Absolutely unbelievable. Nothing has been paid in during that time, it's all down to the market.

I guess I'll be one of very few people lamenting sterling eventually strengthening!

Horrible night, DD abject with teething and fever, we haven't had a full nights sleep in several weeks

Might start painting a little later today, if she naps we might get to go back to bed for an hour or two. Painting very good for the bank balance, every day my pocket money per day figure rises as I can't spend more than a pound or two on snacks
