We are all super parents Eds. Your DD is fed, warm, clothed and most importantly, loved.
There will absolutely be moments when you feel like you are totally rocking this parenting thing, and moments you wonder where it all went wrong.
Be boring if it were easy though0 -

Haha. See no one tells you about this. It's the great parenting conspiracy. People with children keep all this fun stuff to themselves and impress how "amazing" kids are.
Well they are....... but bloody hell they make us work hard for that 2 second smile that may/may not actually be wind
Mines a monkey for ninja creeping into our bed overnight, but when I wake up with a foot jammed in my throat my ire dissipates fairly quickly when I turn her round and she snuggles right up to me. Those moments won't last. When she's 16 I'll be lucky to get a wave never mind a hug/kiss.
Teething is crap, but this shall pass. (Then comes the terrible 2's/potty training/boundaries.....)

I echo choccielover's comments re. parenting.
From what you write on here, you're doing really well and are managing to combine parenting with renovating your new house and a full time job. Rather impressive, to be honest. However, do not forget our children will not remember how tidy / neat / well decorated the house was when they're older.... OK, OK I'm just hoping my son won't remember what a mess my place is.

What mower / strimmer did you buy? Hope the extension lead is not for the mower / strimmer. It's not the weather for it down here at the moment and I hate gardening but have to say I don't mind playing with my c60 year old mower.

In a funny way, it feels like DD is already showing some disturbingly toddlerish behaviours at 14 months! :eek:What mower / strimmer did you buy? Nothing complex (Flym0 hover mower and B0sch strimmer), but yes, electric (got to make use of my free solar energy!)smallholdingsister wrote: »Ed you a a great parent.

I thought I was hardened to the ultraviolence, but yikes, they like to ramp things up, don't they?0
