Serious question, but when are children likely to lie in, say 'til 0730?
Roughly around when they need to be up at 0700 for school :rotfl:,

DD2 always was an early raiser, still is. Difference occurs when they no longer need you to entertain! Mine all teens and all have a capacity to stay in bed. Suspect DD2 just reads etc and just cant be bothered to get up.

Asparagus - boil 4-5 mins, though as usual everyone on here seems to have more delicious food than we do in this family. :rotfl:

Kids getting up - my son doesn't get up particularly early (c.8.00am), though he doesn't like going to bed. Current trick is having his "bedtime" story in the sitting room before getting ready for bed. He'll then get ready for bed and request another story. Recently he's been getting up too. Wife had a chat about going to bed, about sleep being important etc etc because I couldn't say it with legitimacy but apparently not sleeping is OK because "Daddy never sleeps". :o He's got no idea how much I'd like to be in a good routine and have regular sleep. :rotfl: Hope he grows out of it.

Well, it looks like that relief rally that I mentioned has turned up earlier than expected, shame I never had time to top up the ISA! ;)

I'm just disappointed as I'd expected more volatility. At the risk of reading between the lines too much, the sad events of last week seem to have brought a degree of calm and common sense back to the referendum process. People seem to be swinging back towards the 'safe' option.

That certainly seems to be the mood in the news this morning. However, a week is a long time in politics and the markets...
