I have - do they do a referral code? I saw the MSE one, but would rather help a real person get some freebies
I think I'm normally at 75k+ a week (off the top of my head)0 -
I'll pm you mine if you don't mind.0

Yikes! Thats a lot of DIY! Though squeak-free floorboards are not to be sniffed out. I just want to remind you that when she's at school, you won't now be able to tell if she's hopped out of bed to get hold of a toy thats across the room
Sorry! Couldn't resist
Have a nice plooter, you and Mrs E and DD2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
We're not plootering - that quote was from ages ago! :rotfl:0

Oops!
Just seen a typo in my post ... "sniffed out"? Wot? Sniffed *at*. "At" is a word too.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Question re. window blinds. If you have a pull down blind that's a bit too long for fitting in a window frame is an issue? Surely you just don't pull it down all the way? Ike@ do one that would fit DD's room for £25, a fraction of what we spent in the last place!0

I don't have blinds Ed but seems like a reasonable suggestion to me.0

A pretty subdued GN day for me, made £100 or so between us.
My time was largely spent DIYing again today. Finished the (now totally) squeak free floor, removed the bizarre scotia/beading that they'd put round the skirting boards to hide the gap (I'll use flexible filler for the narrower gaps + normal, non-cheapo carpet will cover it) and removed some of the larger gloss deposits left behind after removing it.
Tomorrow will be removing the radiator (God help me!), sanding and a trip to Ike@ to buy cheap blackout blinds.
Then do all of my normal housework and try to relax0
