Very nice fire ... we have a Euroheat we love it
Can I suggest though whilst having a fire is amazing and I certainly wouldn't be without one, they take up a lot of time, cutting wood storing it finding it ... right now in your life do you have the time for a fire ?
We love our fire and have it lit nearly every day... but it takes up a lot of time0 -
Agreed El. DH is a builder, they have a pile of fire wood at work for the guys to take, yet he can't seem to find the time to build up a stock of it this winter. Every evening he goes grumbling into the spare bedroom -currently part of the 'building zone'- and spends 20 mins sawing and chopping kindling.
If he's out I put the electric heater on - not very mse

I think I would be not very MSE in this instance and just have a ton of firewood delivered. What does that cost these days?0

Way way way way more than its nearest rival lpg ... depends on where u get it from down south the can be well over £200 a builders bag ... up here we can range from. £45-£150 a builders bag ... but then you have kiln dried hard wood soft wood etc to choose from
We have yet to buy wood as for us it is about trying to save money ... so we source our wood chop it up there bring it home pile it up chop it again stack it leave it for Atleast a year test it then if it's dried enough burn it0 -
It takes time ... we enjoy it as it meets some hunter gatherer needs in us and we have a good fire going at the end .... but our kid has moved out and it's just us 2 kicking about so we have time0

Our coffee grinder and stove top espresso maker turned up yesterday - delicious! Got some cracking quadruple certified coffee beans online, a real treat, albeit quite expensive. Trying to drink less 'real' coffee, but making it a more special occasion at the same time. It is a luxury after all.0 -
Oooo you got a wee linky to the coffee? I LOVE my stove top and have it as a treat at the weekend ... a good coffee would just be braw0
