Ed - Once I have got my head around my "normal" money situation I may look to you for some advice. All your posts are great but I don't even pretend to understand what you are doing! I used to be quite good with understanding what works best but I seem to have lost that over the last few years hence checking my own stuff out first. I still can't help but feel I could make my money work better for me.

I have to make my money work for me ajm, I'm not very career minded and while I currently earn an ok amount, I honestly think that I would be stuffed financially if I lost this job. This sort of thought hovers at the back of my head about 2-3 times a day, hence all the financial shenanigans :o
  • Another gorgeous sunny day, don't get dizzy now, watching that meter go backwards:D

Can only imagine that when you watch it go backwards, you must be unwinding, watch it go the other way - winds you up:rotfl:

It is lovely and bright. Mrs E has now developed the compulsion to check the meter every 5 minutes :rotfl:

Sweet pots pricked and wrapped in foil in the SC on low for 8 hours, chunk of gorgonzola in each, braised sliced leeks and spring greens over the top (wilt quickly with a little butter, a few smashed cloves of garlic, then add a few bay leaves, salt, oregano, 300ml of decent stock, let simmer for 15 mins, stirring from time to time).

Ps you can get this a lot cheaper than this price btw. About £70ish I think.
