Nah, you don't want one of those. These are what you need, we have lots in our new place :D. Not as modern or safe looking as the ebay one though .

    Seriously, well stylish :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Hi Ed et al,

Ed, I don't know how you do it! I have FT work, a bit of study and a house that needs a shedload of refurbishing and my get-up-and-go appears to have taken a holiday. (Let's hope it has not permanently relocated! ;))

I'm getting quite stressed about money and the future and everything so I think my diary (I've half-written out my first post) will be going up soon and I am going to need some serious advice, please!

Anyway, enjoy your UBER-posh JL lights. I am well jel, to quote the perma-tanned southerners! :rotfl: (I got some stylish secondhand lights in a charity shop and I love them but they are not as posh as yours!)

Ed, I don't know how you do it!

    One day at a time!

Busy start to the day today:
    • Removed old oven, took to the tip and got petrol
    • Fitted new oven
    • Hurt back lifting oven!
    • HM pork belly and pinto bean stew for dinner
    • Tried my blender for the first time - my green smoothies are going to require some tweaking :D
    • Loads of parcels delivered
    • Endless loads of laundry, rubbish etc.
  • Well done, you're a 'uman dynamo.

    Definitely a 'uman dynamo :D

Am in awe of the oil filled radiators you can trundle about Gally :j only £7 in Espana!
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • Oooh Mr E, you're in big trouble with Mr Tilly. I've been looking at radiators for the bathrooms when we redo the house in Portugal. I may also have been looking at light fittings, new ovens, wood burning stoves. Before I was mainly looking at underfloor heating and insulation techniques but now I'm like a woman possessed. Mr T says "can you hurry up and finish the house as Mrs T may calm down then"

    :rotfl::rotfl:

I hope the awful weather is passing you by.

    Best wishes, Tilly

Karmacat, I agree, 'uman Dynamo is right x x x
