It was also a fun sort of family day as we hid out from the bad weather.

Used new blender to make DD a spring green, apple and cheese puree (would be great for adults actually, can imagine some with a roast pork dinner!) Feeling a bit helpless as I can't hold her for too long, too ouchy. On the big ibupofen, planning an early bed too.

On the negative side, the cardboard boxes of solar panel clips etc. left in our garage have disintegrated, will be a PITA for the installers tomorrow. I did specifically mention the leaky roof beforehand and whether the boxes would come wrapped....

Saw the end of 'It's A Wonderful Life', left me in tears, I would like to be a schmaltzy popular good guy, too :o

Ps. Is search broken? Trying to catch up with threads, but can't find my last post which is usually how I know where to start.

Oh Ed you've gone way down in my estimation :(. Far too sickly sweet for me smiley-sick017.gif.

Hope the back recovers quickly :(

I'm not a fan either. Sorry!

Glad to hear you're getting a bit more sleep. It's a killer sleep deprivation

I used to love that film, and then I saw it again a couple of years ago after a gap of about 15 years. I'm all for schmaltz, but the self denial in that film is .... painful. Can't watch it any more :( I still love James Stewart, and I *love* Harvey: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042546/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
