I have many bets on Germany

I hope Miroslav Klose scores. Sad to say about England, but over the years the Miroslav Klose/Lukas Podolski duo has given me more pleasure to watch then seeing the English team not get through....yet again.

Thought I would amend this :)

"Although [STRIKE] fairly backward[/STRIKE], being one of the best places to live in Britain, with one of the best natural harbours in the world (Plymouth), being able to get to Europe without having to endure the pesky, time consuming, hassle of flying/driving/taking the train for a very modest £25 quid or so, not to mention a humble population, leery about shouting out Devon's superior (to most of Britain's) living standards lest all of England and half of Scotland decide to move there en masse, ...
    Devon does use sterling."

I would love to live in a place where, if you're having a bad day, you can just pop over to France on a five hour, time to read a book, relaxing ferry service, for a bit of R&R. And no, Eurostar doesn't quite fit the bill.

Sadly, Scotland is also a great place to live, so I don't ever envisage being a southerner again. And Rosyth to Zeebrugge, or wherever it is they sail to these days is not quite what I had in mind...

Half the world HAS moved in here...seriously it was a cheap joke and no offence meant. 2/3 of my children are Devonians.

Impressive winnings. Well done Ed and Mrs Ed. Could you not become a full time gambler?????
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
