  • Morning Mr E, how is Juliet doing now? These little ones certainly like to worry us on occasions.

All part of this lovely parent journey :rotfl:

I hope you are loving your time together as a family. Is Mrs E prepared for when you go back?

Are you making a picture book of her first year? As you can have printed ones now, that would be a lovely keepsake.

    Have a lovely day.

    Best wishes Tilly x x

She is great Tilly, thanks for asking, although for some reason she didn't feel like sleeping last night! :coffee: :rotfl:

Good appetite, very alert, smiley (no matter what the doctors say re. when this happens), delightfully chubby.

She gets to try her first 'big girl outfit' today (i.e. not a sleepsuit) :)

*Edit: Sorry - mistabit! Yes, we're taking lots of photos and will need to organise these into a more permanent momento once DD is a bit older. I have been heavy hinting that I'd like a photo for my desk at work for Fathers' Day.

This might be an option for you?
I've been putting photos and videos into Windows Movie Maker and using royalty free music fron the Tinterweb to make short videos for us and family. I then upload them as unlisted videos to YouTube and send the link to family - which is handy because we live hundreds of miles apart and the vids are a bit too big for email!
There's also an option to upload them to YouTube as private - meaning you have to add each email address you want to allow access.
I've found it to be a quick and easy way to make digital momentos. It might be an option for you?

Even if you don't at least you have all the lovely photos you've taken for the future :D

It's great to hear your little one is doing so well. BabySaver turned 6 weeks old on Monday and has started laughing :j

Oh my, that must be adorable :)

Thank you very much for the inspired suggestion, private videos sound like the way to go, we also have a family that is spread out around the UK.

    • Trying to ignore particularly nice Am@zon whisky deal starting at 7... mebbe I could justify it to myself as I might make some money @ Royal Ascot next week? :rotfl:
  • Don't do it.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Arrange the photos you've taken of your daughter into an album. Some companies online can make coffee table book type albums if you really want to embarrass her when she's a bit older.
