I feel we bit off more than we could chew yesterday. Decided to take a spontaneous trip in the car, ended up 35 miles away at our nearest seaside town.
The plan had been for a bite to eat followed by a leisurely stroll, but it ended in momentary panic after explosive baby diarrhoea and worried parents. 3 nappies in 5 minutes, a full change of clothes, as old women tried to unlock the disabled/baby changing bathroom as I loudly explained what was happening
Everything appears to be back to normal now, but it was a horrible afternoon. Why do these tiny bundles seek to worry us so? :A
Feeling a lot brighter today, we'll be sticking nearer to home and DD has now put on 12oz since birth
Today and yesterday:- £5 to savings
- £9 to S&S ISA pot

Hehe - poop explosions are everyday - this was just... ill. Few things quite as worrying as your changing mat filling up with #s 1 and 2 in a public bathroom :eek:0

Hello again,
So all my pension transfers seem to have completed successfully, which is a bit of a relief. I didn't much like the idea of all of that cash floating around.
Pension 1 still stands at ~£14000, and pension 2 now stands at £77000 following all of the transfers in. It is the second one into which my pension is currently paid.
I think this sounds quite good, but tbh, I'm not that sure. It sounds quite a lot, but I'm a long way from retirement with £90,0000 -
That sounds pretty good so far, definitely a healthy start
You should be able to generate £300/mth or so, better than a poke in the eye!0 -
I'd like £2000/mo when I retire, so a long way to go before then, and a mortgage still to pay off.0

How is our collective Goddaughter today?0
