I had a Chief Exec who confessed he'd felt envious of a railway station cleaner as he had a distinct job to do, could do it well and didn't have to take it home with him
Bet the station cleaner gets less stock options...0 -
At 53 I feel the same. Eventually I came up with 'retired' - managed to achieve that :rotfl:. Seriously though. most people, myself included, seem to work on a 'well, I don't want to do that (anymore) so let's try something else'. I had a Chief Exec who confessed he'd felt envious of a railway station cleaner as he had a distinct job to do, could do it well and didn't have to take it home with him

At times I consider whether or not being retired is my ideal job too, though going by my family history I'll get to the age I should be retired and be determined to carry on.edinburgher wrote: »Bet the station cleaner gets less stock options...

I had a lovely day off yesterday to celebrate reaching the ripe old age of 32 :j
The day started with a lie in and ended listening to good music in front of the fire, a win all round.
Also had a chance to rebalance my pension, which took all of 1 minute thanks to my simplified approach to funds.
Right, off to a horribly busy two days of work before the Easter break0 -

Happy Birthday for yesterday!
:bdaycake: and since you're busy, have some cake
I did manage to listen to the youtube vid yesterday - lovely! Its interesting hearing that sort of music sung by children, really different from the old timers who usually give forth.
Hope its not too tiring today
