Frazzled!
- Friday: Hoovered, cleaned fish tank, cleaned shoes
- Saturday: Loads of MBs, no profit! Went for a walk in the park, had a pub lunch, drank beer
- Today: Decluttered wardrobe, desk drawers, hall cupboard, kitchen cupboards. Took 2 binbags of clothes to charity land, tipped a couple of nackered electrical appliances, a big bag of cables and various bits of crap that were cluttering up the house. Ordered fabric nappies (sorry for not using your helpful advice GreenT!) Made vegetable stir fried rice, kimchi dumplings (frozen) and miso soup for dinner. Made bread, made beef stew for tomorrow, made vegetable stock for soup later in the week. Listed 2 games on the bay of E.
Tomorrow is the last day before money shuffle time. In a cheesy 'Merican personal finance style this month has been very significant for us, reached a net worth milestone that feels like an achievement.

Busy busy! How did you decide on what nappies to get? We haven't bought anything yet, not really thought about it all as it still seems far too early, but it would be interesting to see what you decided on.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Internet research and forums for the most part, combined with (hopefully) a little common sense0 -

How come your m.b.ing made no profit, Ed? Whatcha been doing?

Locked in £6 profit from football arb, risked £5 free bet on potential £25 horse racing refund (lost), underlaid football treble for a potential £20 (was only worth £2 guaranteed), (lost). To try and minimise piddly crap, I have decided that I only take part in freebies or offers with the potential to win £4+ (fancy). This means I'm underlaying a few things (so winning big if they pay off, or nowt if they don't).0 -
Blimey. You're a figures man, and no mistake ... I couldn't do that in a month of Sundays
I do agree with a minimum profit level - I'm doing that with ebay now, the SF magazines I've sold on there only get a £1 profit, and thats not enough with all the faff, so I'm binning them.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hi Karmacat
I've been looking at getting rid of magazines and I found a site that offers money for old magazines called crazy for magazines - might be worth a try before you bin them...
Got no experience with them - but going to give it a go myself shortly.
