    Bed stripping today.. Mine is remade already.. must get the duvet cover done though as I only have one of those.
    I am getting OH to clear the rabbit run etc from the garden :(
    I am getting the laundry folded and away
    OH is mincing the grass and hacking the hedge
    I am still aiming to get in the understair cupboard.. I just don't want to put shoes on and I know I have to so I don't hurt myself shifting boxes about.. I might do that first actually while the washers run.

    OH did the DW already.. I need to put that through a clean cycle when I have run out of pots to wash..
    I need to get food out for dinner.. might do sausage casserole tonight... or tuna pasta..

    I need to empty my bag too so DD3 can pack for her week away with school

    Busy day then..

    Afternoon all

    Been to town and got lots of jobs done and bought 2 summer dresses, one for work and one for summer.

    Off to hand the washing on the line and then pot some seedlings on.

    :T hurrah!

    We've come inside to cool off :eek:

    Had guests around most of day so far, tree is planted (gramps helped kiddies do it, which is lovely) and some weeding done.

    I appear to be on my second glass of @ldi p!mms :D

    We had a non-BBQ lunch, sausages in buns and sticky ribs and garlic bread, but done in the oven (less mess) and there is the most enormous cheesecake in the fridge :p

    Two lots of washing out - might do some whites as I'm sure the rest must be dry - scorcher of a day here. My face is tingling!

    Now I'm at a loss...

    Arg@s said my steamer wouldn't be in at least until Sunday, however they emailed today to say it's in my local store.

    I'm going to get it!

    So, today was:

    Saturday

    * [STRIKE]make my bed[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]Clean bathroom and loo[/STRIKE]
    * wipe down doors throughout
    * dust throughout
    * [STRIKE]Vax (vacuum) throughout the house[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]laundry in[/STRIKE][STRIKE], out and put away[/STRIKE]
    *[STRIKE] shine my sink[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]Decluttered the hallway coat hanging space[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]Took 3 HOOGE bags of clothing and books to @xfam CS[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]Banked a cheque I'd been forgetting in my purse whilst in town[/STRIKE]

    Now, it's

    Saturday

    * steam EVERYTHING!!! :T:rotfl::T

    Well, the steamer was AWFUL! It's going back to Arg@s tomorrow and I've emailed a complaint. I'm badly scalded as the nozzle for the handle came undone mid use (it was properly clicked into place) and sprayed 100 degree C steam around at face level :mad::mad:

    I haven't dusted properly or done the doors, will tackle that tomorrow now as I have to make a chicken and mushroom pie for supper.

    2 more loads through the WM.. 8 loads done now.. just airing off bedding in the dryer so it can go away.
    Clothes all put away so my table is almost visible.. :)
    DW done again.
    Bin of bits emptied out of the back garden.. spread between 3 bins to avoid weight issues.
    Rabbit run dismantled to take to the tip along with several bags of garden detritus. A dead rug to go and a ceased up scooter.

    I have a corker of a bruise on the back of my arm after dropping a wheelie bin on myself. I'm special don't you know!?

    Dinner cooked.. troops fed..

    Still not touched that cupboard under the stairs.. procrastination 101!!

    Pixie played outside.. she ate mud and grass.. a lovely time was had!

    Squeak and Dot had a chuckle laughing at me squealing and shrieking after being attacked by dragonfly killer beast.

    Yikes Chi-me sounds dangerous!

    I put the kids to bed at 6.20 :( not happy with their behaviour today. I explained this morning that it was 7yrs ago today that Daddy and I got married. And that I was feeling a bit sad and missing him, and it would really help me today if they could be pleasant to each other. Well I don't know why I bothered. It's been one thing after another and I'm not sure how I've not imploded tbh.

    I put them in the bath just before 6, sat on the loo and explained I was disappointed they didn't feel they could try harder today. They both said sorry, they are nice now, yada yada. Within minutes they were at each other again. I silently washed faces then pulled the plug out. DS shouted at me and DD called me "naughty mummy". So I just shut the door.

    Seems it's not nice sitting in an empty bath. Within about a minute they were calling me back. I let them stew for a minute more then went back in. I've not spoken since :(. Just dried both off, pjs on, cleaned teeth and popped straight into bed.

    The only reaction they've had is when I raised my eyebrows at "but we are still going to the park tomorrow, aren't we?"

    Not an effing chance. Just today, one day, I wanted harmony. One sodding day. I get a text message off my mum, and the occasion is ignored by my father and brother. Effing marvelous.

    Pimms it is. Alone :(
