As mentioned, I've had a jobcentre manager tell me that "we don't have authority to make reasonable adjustments to people with disabilities"
Really? Someone had better tell McVey and Penning then because, both of them insist that JCP will make allowances for ESA claimants that need to make a claim for JSA during the mandatory reconsideration period.

Pleased for OP she has her job. Astounded by this thread. Obviously OP was worried about having received a warning. She needed reassurance is all. Equally obviously JC could not have unilaterally sanctioned her without forewarning her and therefore needed to forewarn her in case it subsequently transpired that the interview was a fabrication and she had wanted the morning free to lay tarmac on the M1. As WS said: all is well that ends well.

They are supposed to make allowances, as they know many ESA claimants, who have put in for MR, have to claim JSA, or get no money!

And as anyone disabled may lose the appeal, after tribunal, they are also supposed to tailor any jobsearch requirements to fit the person and any limitations.

If they are not going this, then make a formal complaint.

Arguing the toss with them will not change a thing, but complaining properly, in writing, will, because they have to follow their own regulations.

If that fails, then contact your MP, and I would also send copies to Duncan Smith, McVey and Penning.....

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
