Pirateyqueen, we had a 'tube' of Lush FUN too and it leaked as well, DSD had left it on the shelves in her bedroom and it ended up all over the carpet :( i cannot for the life of me get the stain out! Hate the stuff.

It has cornflour in I think, odd stuff. Nice bubbles, but sort of melted all over the bathroom. :(

    Anyway! UU...
85 - Grated the end of a lush massage bar and used it as a bath melt. Lovely. Will do this again.
86 - Popped the end of a coconut soap in a wash with some towels. Coconutty towels iminent!
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

Thank you, Sundaysgirl :) It's nice to meet you. I'm glad that you had such a wonderful wedding and honeymoon :)

I have to say that you seem incredibly focused (on being :money: as a whole). It's very impressive! I think I'm more likely to fall victim to the Purse Pixies as I don't have a strong sense of what my overall aim is. *Goes off to think about this* :rotfl:

Thank you :) Lovely to meet you too!

Well, the good intentions are there - I don't always fare too well if there's a great glitch/sale/GWP, but I've found that I've done much better since starting a stash list at the turn of the year (as it's clearly in black & white that I really don't need another body lotion / shower gel / face cream - no kidding myself!), and also doing monthly PPs helps to focus the mind. I still can't say no to a freebie, but suppose this is no bad thing as it's long-term MSE so long as I'll make use of it.

IMO it definitely helps having a goal to achieve with the money saved by not succumbing (mortgage OPs in my case) - otherwise I personally would just fritter it away. It's not until you count up how much you've spent that you realise how excessive it is sometimes - most of my £102 spent this year was wholly unnecessary, and I could easily have let it be so much more :o So my tip is spreadsheets, lists and more spreadsheets (though I know on this thread I'm mostly preaching to the converted!)! My NBUT role model at the moment is definitely dolly - doing amazingly!

begged him to do his best to save the tooth, going for part one root canal on Friday then have to wait two weeks till he can fit me in again as very popular as well as very dishy!/QUOTE]

I have another root canal treatment coming up as well. Have you had one before? I was very  about the idea but found it wasn't as bad as I feared. I really hope they can save your tooth *hugs*

    Oh dear :(

That sounds pretty awful. :( I really hope that you get your teeth sorted out soon so that you can eat easily again. My tooth that has been capped now has an abcess () and I'm half way through having another root canal/cap being done. Hopefully we'll both be sorted out asap :)

    Evening all

I did cave a bit today (could have been worse)

Ins: Barry M blue grape gelly polish (this is the one I'd been wanting)
Barry M nail art pen in white
Barry M nail polish corrector pen

OH has got worse than me of late (although there isn't as much choice of men's stuff) he keeps wanting to get more and more different makes of face wash/scrubs (he's not much into moisturiser) to try

I'm all bought out ATM now, sick of looking at toiletries lol although OH made an order from somewhere (possibly clarins) and the GWP was a womens thing :) so got that to come

Back from holidays, lovely to see that you had a great wedding day and honeymoon Sundaysgirl.
Rosemary and Willow, hope you both get good results. I've had root canal treatment, not the best procedure I've had, but by no means the worst.
Wishing all furry ones continuing recoveries.

    Couple of NBI's:
30ml of hotel shower gel. Oh dear. I needed this like a fish needs waterskis. Couldn't stop myself from picking it up though. It may come in handy for more nights away.

Packet of face-wipes to trial, first toiletries trial in ages, but at least it wasn't shower gel, lotion or shampoo.

IN #40: Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation in 15 Opal, 30ml; popped into the big Boots on the retail park and they had samples for all shades, looks like a decent match and it was 25% off so £11.62. I'll feedback to you in due course, KT, just waiting for the inevitable hormonal breakout to rear its ugly head(s).

ETA: as if by magic, a big spot has appeared at the corner of my mouth over the course of cricket. Looks like my review could be forthcoming sooner rather than later :(

How are you getting on with Dermablend? I am still really wanting to try this and would love to hear your thoughts - I think we may be similar in skin tone too from what you have posted before.

Welcome back Sundays Girl - so happy to hear you had an amazing wedding and honeymoon.

Glad to hear Mr Collie is on the mend wondercollie

Hope your face is healing tiffany jane - poor you :(

Hope all the teeth treatment goes well for people that are having things done.

Welcome back mcculloch - did you have a good break? I think kadison may have gone away on holiday now too, hope she is having a good time.

Argh I really want the you beauty discovery box as I really really want to try the GlamGlow mask. Just don't have the money to justify it at the moment, plus I am trying for no INS :(

    3. Original source vanilla bubble bath

    5. Soap and Glory hand food mini
    6. The Body Shop seaweed mattifying day cream
    7. Elle foot cream

57 - La Roche Posay Effaclar AI - this was a spot treatment thing, WMBA although didn't seem to be all that effective! Trying out an Origins spot treatment now.

Yes, thanks, KT lovely break. Coach tour, the hotel was part of the Leisureplex chain, I know most of you won't be in to these - and neither was I until my late 40s - but I really rated this one above the other companies I've used. Usually you don't get toiletries, we had quality soaps and shower gels.

    Hi all!

Another UU: Lady Gaga Fame shower gel (200ml).

WIBA? Well, it's black when it goes on which seems counter intuitive to say the least. I don't think it smells as nice as the perfume and I wouldn't have bought either were they not in the Boots sale. I think I would buy the perfume again if it were a reasonable price but I wouldn't buy this separately.

Bewt of.luck to all the dentist visitors. I had a root canal done a few months ago and it wasn't as bad as everyone had me believe: I was scared before I went in.
