Finally caught up with you all - a full months' worth and a very chatty month at that!

dolly - thanks for starting us off this month, I am of course in again, if somewhat belatedly.

Babafette - so sorry to hear about your Mum but pleased she seems to be on the mend.

girlybags - condolences on your loss and hope FIL is improving.

wondercollie - pleased to hear your furbaby is responding to treatment, two of my furbabies took it in turns to get sick JUST before the wedding (they seem to pick the worst possible times, don't they?!) so it was a big relief to return and find them all still here (and well again)!

suzitiger - big congratulations on your wedding, hope you're having a wonderful honeymoon and wishing you and your new husband a very happy married life :)

smartcat and willowbee - welcome back!

I hope that's everyone covered but sorry if I've missed anyone out :o

Quite a chunk of my April PP is still intact (though I was pretty ambitious and did manage to make good inroads) so I'll come back with an updated list later.

Ive had the few NBIs already this month but I'm aiming for no spends in May (and beyond if I can). I have a (very) sufficient stash of everything other than essentials such as toothpaste, shave gel and deo (which I don't list as I no longer stash) so really no need for spends.

Now that the cost of the wedding is behind us I can really go full steam ahead on blasting my mortgage and going ahead with home improvements, so this (and some savings for nice holidays and rainy days) is my real focus and my incentive to be good. Though with so much naughtiness going on in my absence I may well be led astray before I know it (let's hope the purse pixies keep themselves busy elsewhere!)...

So it's not just me then! I was surprised, because my bathroom is always freezing too!

I buy this for my son sometimes. We keep it in a soap travel box thingy in the fridge and it still turns to goo after a bit. We took the last bit of the last bar I bought up to the bathroom in the soap container and after a couple of days most of it had turned to liquid!
    Never say never

Thank you, Sundaysgirl :) It's nice to meet you. I'm glad that you had such a wonderful wedding and honeymoon :)

I have to say that you seem incredibly focused (on being :money: as a whole). It's very impressive! I think I'm more likely to fall victim to the Purse Pixies as I don't have a strong sense of what my overall aim is. *Goes off to think about this* :rotfl:

    40 years of marriage..

A married couple in their early 60s are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant.
Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table.
She said, 'For being such an exemplary married couple and for being loving to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish.'

    ?ui=2&ik=f9aa8f805f&view=att&th=145f05b20a91895a&attid=0.1&disp=emb&zw&atsh=1

The wife answered, 'Oh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband
The fairy waved her magic wand and - !!!!!!! - two tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her hands.

The husband thought for a moment: 'Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again. I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me.
The wife, and the fairy, were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish.

    ?ui=2&ik=f9aa8f805f&view=att&th=145f05b20a91895a&attid=0.2&disp=emb&zw&atsh=1

So the fairy waved her magic wand and !!!!!!!...

The husband became 92 years old.

    The moral of this story:

Men who are ungrateful !!!!!!!s should remember fairies are female

    136. NUXE Nuxellence Jeaunesse (S 15ml) - WDBA

Another thing from my PP list :j

Lovely stuff - sort of a cross between a light moisturiser and a serum. This is the second 15ml sample that I've used up. I think I have one more left but I'm going to hold that back for a while. I'm hoping for an amazing offer from Nuxe so that I can buy some more minis of this. (Once I've UU more things, of course...)

pirateyqueen - some excellent OUTs there :j

dolly - hurrah for no INs this month! Your focus is amazing as well :T

Maddiemay - I love the sound of your NV notebook :) It's such a practical idea but must be very pretty as well :D
  • Thanks for your imput guys, it's my own fault as it has a 6 month shelf life and i've had it longer than that but i'm now on day 5 face full of calamine lotion full, i'm grateful for not having to do the school run with my scary face but i'm sure my postie thinks i'm using some mass face hair removal cream :/

More in's, still no money spent :D

I have another root canal treatment coming up as well. Have you had one before? I was very  about the idea but found it wasn't as bad as I feared. I really hope they can save your tooth *hugs*
