when booking a non uk european holiday e.g. france - do you get an option to upgrade or does it specify if it is tent or caravan?

I can see that some of the sites have both caravans and tents but don't know if it will ask me what i would prefer?

anyone done a european hols before and know the answer?

    art

If its a tent it will say when it goes through to book or it will say mobile home. There is no option to upgrade on the sun website for European. You get a 2 bed as standard but can change to a 3 bed when you get final invoce it will cost about £60 extra as it includes a £20 admin charge. You get a Classic or Classic Plus generally.

missuscolumbo - I've just upgraded direct with Haven for the Sun Holiday I booked in January - we are going in July - and it cost me £44 to upgrade direct, whereas its only £32 to upgrade when booking through the sun so not always cheaper.

so if i want a 3 bed in europe through the sun to avoid the £20 admin charge - how many people do i have to pay for? do i need to pay for 6 or 8?

i.e. if i have to pay for 6 that is only £30 extra?? but 8 would be £60 extra anyway.....

    anyone know ?

They check your passes at haggerston majority of the time when you go into the complex, so if you want to go swimming etc i would buy the passes
