Guys
Would anyone be able to provide a latin translation of these parts of the English wedding vows for me please? I've searched online but the little I have found is conflicting!
To have and to hold
To love and to cherish
Til death do us part
Any help appreciated - also should I post on any other board to get more results?
Thanks a lot in advance for any help

I've been married 10 years and would just like to put something nice in a card, which is a little unusual, to re-affirm the original vows, but it may prove more difficult than I'd thought!
I'm always naively still surprised by negative responses to genuine threads on the forum. There are, apparently, some practising Catholics who choose to have their wedding ceremony conducted in Latin so I don't feel its pompous or pretentious, but thanks for giving your unsolicited opinion.0 -

Yeah, but they don't do it by translating the Book of Common Prayer. Weddings haven't ever been conducted in Latin in the Church of England, so translating the Book of Common Prayer into Latin doesn't work. The Tridentine Nuptial Mass is an entirely different beast, and the bit you're translating is done in English (or the local language) if it's done at all. Celebrants in a Tridentine mass speak in Latin, not the congregants.

Who mentioned Church of England? My guess is the OP is RC and wants a Latin translation of their vows.0
