    I've sent an email to our head of complaints about this and she's going to get back to me shortly over it.

    I've recieved a reply, she's now passed this onto the head of online billing who will get directly back to me in the next couple of days.

    Well, I spoke to them again today... Apparently everyone has different Gas and Elec account numbers but also a 'unique' online account number for both accounts - so both Gas and Elec show in same page. Except me, and a few thousand others, according to the guy I spoke to! I have 2 'unique' numbers (not very unique :confused: ) one for Gas and one for Elec therefore - both accounts don't, and won't, show on same page!

    And, for some reason, it's a little more complicated than just pressing a button and linking them!!!

    Assured it will be solved asap (but could take a while) and I will recieve paper bills for my missing account until rectified... If it wasn't so frustrating it would be comical...
  • I work for a Large utility company in department that resolve metering and billing issues (back office). I am going to set up an INDEPENDENT web site that will concentrate purely on helping the general public solve their problems before ringing their supplier (hours on the phone, stressfull and expensive) it will tell you everything from how to bill accounts to dealing with Meter exchanges that haven't updated. As angry customers I would be appreciate your comments on this idea...thanks

    Been trying to access my bill all day, no problems getting to my 2 accounts, but I get:-

    "Access to your online bill is temporarily unavailable. If the time is between 7am - 11pm Monday to Saturday, please try again in a few minutes. Otherwise, please try again between 7am - 11pm Monday to Saturday. You can still enter meter reads and make payments."


    Well I tried and tried and tried, is their clock wrong.

    And how come access is limited to 7/11 shop hours 6 days a week? :shocked:

    Well if I knew how much I owed I would pay....:rolleyes2 :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2

    did anybody get anywhere with getting both accounts to show on the new website ?

    I notice my parents elec still not on there. I did report it at the time website went live.

    still no access and it appears we have a paper bill missing as latest bill shows debit. Info on paper bill does not usually match online bills so I really wanted to see online versions.

    contactus button not even working on the website.

    Not sure I can summon energy (no pun intended) to phone them.

    i have been waiting to access my online account for approx 12 months now

    this new computer system was supposed to sort it out

    still waiting

    every week for the past 6 months BG have been threatening to come round and turn my elecy and gas off
