I'm not sure trading standards can help with taking your kids out:D

really!! oh i was going to suggest op pm'd emz11 and get conservatory guy to look at over 18 sign on the slot machine and advise on the legal fonts etc, to get her son out of this pickle.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
Doesn't EVERYONE know that when you want legal advice you should ask a, arm, conservatory salesman? I'm astounded sometimes by the ignorance displayed by some posters. Not only astounded but also disgusted.0

I'm guessing the OP must have nipped out to the shops, seeing as her son can't use his fake ID anymore!0

Maybe you shouldn't make promises you can't keep :rotfl:
Perhaps you should stop telling him Mummy will make it better and suggest there are lessons to be learned about if you gamble - you will usually lose-and there's no-one to blame but yourself.
I'm giggling at the thought you had the front to tell the pub you allowed your underage son to drink and gamble illegally in their premises. On the up side you've probably got him banned by doing so- so he can't do it there again.
Part of me hopes you are a troll and not just thick-but hey if you're not at least you made us smile !
Fake ID that you're only supposed to use in the shop but not in the pub..... Priceless! Does he nip down to the shop in his onesie ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
OP - law states that if a pub owner cannot psychically know that a person playing a fruit machine is using a fake ID, then they are required to refund all monies paid in.
OK, it doesn't, but I presume that's what you want to hear.
Of course it does! Didn't you know about the Trading Standards Act?
It says unless there is a sign on the machine about payments then it's illegal for it to be working.
:rotfl::rotfl:
You go OP, fag hanging out one corner of the mouth, hair in curlers, don't forget to wave that fake ID while you jump up and down and shout "I KNOW MY RIGHTS" :j.====0 -
Kriss Kross - I made this mistake myself as a youngster - and continued doing it for a long time - you can't claim anything back from anyone but make sure the lad knows it was his personal mistake and learns from it. If he does then it will be a valuable life lesson.0
