Oh wow Fruit Machine gone. Well done you will soon be under 6K green eyed monster here.
Oh well will try and hunt for items to sell next week.:DLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Afternoon all,
Thanks Calling14
Yes it's nice selling unwanted items to get extra dosh to throw at the debt
Well, to increase the high feeling I'm feeling from selling the fruit machine I've just sent another payment of £50 to CC 1 bringing the total on that card to £1000.
I'm so pleased with myself as only a couple of months ago I still had my loan and also had £2000+ on CC1. Giving myself a virtual pat on the back right now for my efforts so far!
It's currently 2 weeks until pay day. I have the dentist next Tuesday so am holding money aside for that but I hope to get my balance below £6k before pay day
I've found it's definitely better to pay off multiple smaller amounts rather than one large payment in between pay day as it means the month doesn't drag.
Keep up the good efforts everyone. :beer:0 -
Good afternoon all.
I have definitely got the Friday feeling after a very busy week at work.
I have now paid another payment of £85 off CC 1 bringing it's balance under £1k to £915 :T
This also means I now owe just under £6k which I'm happy with. :j :j
:rotfl:
I've got a full tank of fuel in the car and I've still got a little cushion left in my bank account (budgeted really well this month) so as long as the dentist doesn't cost too much and there's no unforeseen expenses I hope to be able to pay more off before pay day.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Evenin all, I hope you've had a good day.
I've spent the day sorting the shed. I've listed a couple of bits on FB selling pages and so far have made £25 (hey, every little helps!
).
I'll have a look to see what else I can sell tomorrow. It would be great if I could make enough to cover my dentist and hygienist bill, that in turn would allow me to pay more off CC 1 before pay day

Afternoon all.
It's been another mind numbing day at the office
I was owed time so decided to leave 30 mins early just because I'd had enough for the day. I really do need to re-evaluate the work situation. it's not a nice place to work at the moment at all. I'm told that hopefully things will improve long term but I'm not sure I can put up with this much longer. May need to start looking.
I've got someone coming round to collect the bits I sold over weekend on FB selling pages this evening. In total I've made £30 so far which is better than nothing.
To cheer myself up I've paid £50 to CC 1 bringing the balance down to £865. :j
I hope everyone had a good day.

Had the dentist and hygienist appointment today. Dentist didn't find any problems but hygienist says I need to floss more.
I hate the feeling of flossing so don't do it often. She informed me of oral irrigators that you can get which are like mini pressure washers for teeth?!? apparently they are really good so I might look into getting one. Has anyone else got/used one???
Anyway, money wise I had the pleasure of paying £63.50 for the appointments. soo blinking expensive! thank goodness I didn't need anything doing. at least my FB sales contributed to the cost.
I have got some money left in the bank account and pay day is next week so I will be paying more off before then which will feel good.

Afternoon all,
Wow, hasn't it been hot the last few days! and the electrical storms were fantastic to watch, although my dog disagrees.
Had a really nice weekend at a family do with minimum spending which was good (except fuel out the joint account).
Tomorrow is pay day which is good as I currently have £66 left in my bank account.
It'll be nice to be able to throw more money at the debt.
I hope you are all doing ok.
