Had a nice day today. Spent the morning messing about in the house doing not a lot. Took DS into his friends for a sleepover. DD was doing her paper round so I went and helped her. Went to visit aunty in hospital. Came home and messed about in the garden and planted some stuff that had been lying about for ages. Tidied up and made dinner. Going to sit on my a$$ for the evening now. Spent £12.40 today. £5.40 in sweet shop
and £7 to son for pictures. Hopefully will get some change from that though.
Feeling much better today. Watched my lad running about daft and winding us all up. There is no way he could be like that if anything serious was wrong.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Glad you have had a reasonable day. I have got some baking and cooking to do for race day tomorrow - saves on buying at the barbecue there, and also saves on buying cake from the coffee shop at ridiculous prices!! However, I am happier sitting on my bum at the min.
Have got to pick up the children from a barbecue in a few mins......just time to drink my coffee.
I hope you have a relaxing evening and a good day tomorrow xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Thanks for all the nice thoughts re DS. He is driving me up the wall today and has been sent to bed. He is tired after his sleepover and his behaviour is shocking. All peaceful now though. DD cant handle him when he is like that and she just nags at him and they end up fighting. Kids eh?? dontcha just love em.
Went to see the new Harry Potter film today. Friend had bought hte tickets and then realised she was away on hols and gave them to me ad wouldnt take the money. woohoo. Got the kids sweets and spent £3.22. Usually buy juice, popcorn, sweets, ice cream and then go for mcd's after it No wonder I'm a fat git!!:o . Just bought some sweets and cartons of juice today and saved myself a fortune. Got tokens on the back of the tickets for cheapo mcd's too so will use them some other time.
Paid online for 6 months tax for car...ouch!!
I cant believe I have paid so much extra to my debts. Still had a life and paid cash for everything. Paid my car tax and still have enough to see me through until the end of the month so long as I am careful and not once have I used a credit card ( round of applause please)

See, it is possible to do it without credit!
Just makes you think how much money you'll have when you don't have debt payments to make!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Oh Kaz I will be loaded then. Have had debt for so long I dont have a clue what it would be like to have all my money to myself ( other than living expenses)
Well I got a new assessment from scottish power for my electricity.............it has doubled to £54 per month:eek: . Must be all the cooking and baking I'm doing.
Made soup for the kids to snack on and going to try them with other flavours as it is cheap and healthy food.
Put loads of stuff on e-bay. Lots of my clothes as I had way too many. I went through everything and if I did not have anything to match it or felt it was a wee bit short etc then it has gone. DD cleared hers out too.
A friend came in whilst I was doing it and was horrified that I used e-bay. Better not tell her I use charity shops too :rotfl: .
My room has now been completely cleared of clutter. Absolutely nothing left that I dont either love or need.
I have loads for a car boot too. Hope to make about £100 to put towards my debt from these. Be good if it was a bit more.
Moved £3000 of credit card debt onto 0%. Will update my sig when I get new accounts in. Will work on paying off M&S completely before I do any others. I want to get it down to one debt and then hammer it.
Thank god I am working during some of the hols although I am lucky enough to have some term time. My kids are driving me barking after 3 days with them. My son talks incessantly which apparently is a major sign of dyspraxia which he is being tested for at the moment. Oh my heid ( head for non scots).
Going to have a wee browse and look at recipes for soup on OS board. TTFN5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I had a dreamNot just any old dream but I had an MS dream!!I think I may be thinking about all this way too much.I dreamt last night that Martin was in charge of all my money. He was responsible for paying my debts etc and dishing out my weekly budget. It was fab and suited me to a T. All debts were being overpaid. Always got my weekly money and no effort whatsoever UNTIL .....................Martin did a runner with my money!!!!!I was outside a room where he was giving a press conference re all the people's money he had pilfered and all I was interested in was that he owed me a bottle of gin( hate gin by the way) In the dream my DS kept coming out with gin and tonic for me and said Martin had said to tell me he was paying me back the bottle he owed me in dribs and drabs. I then found out he was getting the gin for free and I was soooooooo mad.So tell me then what is the meaning of my dream? Do I have a secret pash for Martin?Am I a nutter?Am I an alcoholic?I am finding this all hilarious to be honest.......what a saddo I am!!!!!!!!5 Year plan.
