WOW Melly, the clothes sound great, especially the oxblood & green boots & the long warm coat.
But the ring.......
It's beautiful.0 -
I lost the very first one following a row after my dad died when I threw it at OHS head.
Had a replacement that is beautiful but was too big before weight loss
OH wanted to get one that fits as he knows I like to wear it, he chose it himself, it's lovely.
OK the important stuff.
I ate
2 satsumas
1 slice of Turkey
And some snow bomb.
Not bad at all0 -
He's also sensibly got size 10 stuff and 2 stunning belts (I forgot them) so I can wear them.
He said I don't want to scare you or for you to think weight needs to happen immediately so I got these as that's what size you normally are and the belts so they fit.
Eta he also said he knows how much I'm. Feeling the cold that's why the coat and fleece and wooly hat (forgot that as well)0 -
"Praying For Time"
These are the days of the open hand
They will not be the last
Look around now
These are the days of the beggars and the choosers
This is the year of the hungry man
Whose place is in the past
Hand in hand with ignorance
And legitimate excuses
The rich declare themselves poor
And most of us are not sure
If we have too much
But we'll take our chances
Because god's stopped keeping score
I guess somewhere along the way
He must have let us alt out to play
Turned his back and all god's children
Crept out the back door
And it's hard to love, there's so much to hate
Hanging on to hope
When there is no hope to speak of
And the wounded skies above say it's much too late
Well maybe we should all be praying for time
These are the days of the empty hand
Oh you hold on to what you can
And charity is a coat you wear twice a year
This is the year of the guilty man
Your television takes a stand
And you find that what was over there is over here
So you scream from behind your door
Say "what's mine is mine and not yours"
I may have too much but i'll take my chances
Because god's stopped keeping score
And you cling to the things they sold you
Did you cover your eyes when they told you
That he can't come back
Beacuse he has no children to come back for
It's hard to love there's so much to hate
Hanging on to hope when there is no hope to speak of
And the wounded skies above say it's much too late
So maybe we should all be praying for time0 -

It's the wandering in and demanding food and a fuss that gets me.
We have had lots of kisses (he is tolerating and not moving his head)
Purrs
And a love
He has new scabs
If this little so and so still had his bits can you imagine how bad he would be?0 -

As he got older he came back with more and more war wounds that scabbed and some that needed vet attention.
One day he came in, sat on the kitchen floor and dripped bright red blood all over.
We rushed him up to the vets who initially couldn't find where the blood was coming from but then found a puncture wound in his neck under the chin.
That fight must really have been up-close-and-personal.0
