I am not ignoring you, what your suggesting is what I have been trying this year and also the reason I wanted to be referred for CBT.
After being left with OH in this mess (it's been a lot worse since Jan) I don't trust healthy minds so cant use them

I know you are not ignoring me Melly. I am glad you are willing to try it but if you are still losing weight maybe you should step up the number of times you are trying it during the day.

CBT would be good but I think your being proactive in your own recovery will help you greatly. There is a saying that I can't quite remember but it goes along the lines of If you want a job done properly, do it yourself. You seem to be that sort of a take charge person. So if the CBT is not readily available right now then maybe you should not wait for it but plan your eating strategy that you are going to try to stick to. If you want help with that I'm sure people on here will be able to help you work out what you should be eating.

I do appreciate its difficult but perhaps when you eat something you should tell yourself that it is right that you eat this. Its right and necessary.

I'm certainly not saying anything against the CBT but perhaps you should have faith in your own ability to heal yourself.

I read today that it helps anorexics to break the habit if they change their routines around eating. For instance if you drink water with a meal try leaving the water until after you have finished eating. If you cut food into pieces then stop doing that. In fact just introducing more mealtimes might help you.

I know you have had some flak on this thread for not helping yourself more but I also read today that anorexics do not have much of a survival instinct. They need others to tell them. So it was undeserved flak. However you do need to take heed when people tell you to look after yourself because they can recognise the danger signs even if you can't. You need to work on your survival instinct.

So I went out to play with boos first wife Diamond at lunchtime

She was making me kick her ball.

Friend asked if he could ask me something

He wanted to know if OH was OK as he saw him the night before and thinks he looks ill.
He also expressed concern over my weight loss

Been told to take the carers allowance and concentrate on getting OH better. That there is no shame in it.
That I always work so having a break will do me good etc.

It's very little to do with weight

I for one know my size and I know I'm now in the danger zone. The problem comes twofold

It's a form of self harm so the pain, light headedness etc feels good and clean it also releases the pent up mental stuff.

It's also control so in amongst the chaos this is mine, I can control it.

The TIAS etc are migraine related it is out of control partially because of blood sugar but also because of stress and sleep disturbance.
