Right
Friend showed me another bungalow that's now vacant
How to pitch
I thought showing OHS and my appointments, stressing the OT assessment and stating that obviously with our health I would rather not fight through the courts but will
Oh and how bad making me will look....0 -
Bungalow sounds interesting - crossing everything for you.
Ah the old first 90 days presentation - classic!!! I always include that I will not only assess immediate areas for improvement required for legal compliance, but will identify compliant areas and positive working practices to motivate staff and provide the pat on the back that has normally been missing. Sounds like a good opportunity - best of luck for it. I am slightly jealous - talking to you reminds me of the old days when I found it motivating and rewarding but I think I am done with it now, shame tho, used to love it. **hands over the ear defenders - I'll be outside with the cricket bat if you need me!** {moosquish}0 -
what do you want to be when you grow up Flybaby?
I hate the first 90 days in the role presentation cos erm dunno what state your in till I get there isnt a answer they tend to like lol.
Its near to another friend who has one of the few dogs my Froo loves so would be ideal.0 -
**Wails** - I'm 38 and I still don't know!!!! I was talking to hubby at weekend and I was saying that if I was younger I would probably go back to uni and do a geology degree, but I am not prepared to get myself/us £50K into debt at this stage. Bless him, he said go for it, we will figure it out, sweet, but he has no concept of money/saving etc. Am thinking of doing an environmental masters instead as I might be able to afford that.
And you are soooooooo right! - In a new organisation, it takes a minimum of three months to understand their processes and thought patterns so that you can start to think about what needs to be reinforced and what needs to be altered. I did have one interview earlier in the year though that was really good and after I did my 15 minute presentation, they sat there with open mouths and said they had only wanted to make sure someone could pick up the obvious issues, whereas I had done that and discussed industry improvements they could try and also focused heavily on all the strengths that were clearly evident on the site. Wish I had taken that job, it was a really good job, nice people and reasonable pay, but it was just after I quit my other job and my head wasn't in the right place. I might not want to really do our subject anymore, but it would have been a good steady job and I now feel confident I could have done it well, but at the time I didn't. Silly silly girl. I am living vicariously through you instead! Let me know if you have to do presentation and want any ideas/help etc.
Hope today is going ok. {squish}0 -
Have you done iema flybaby?
Following my nvq that's next for me
Walked doglets watched the child upstairs open the window and aim biscuits and cds at my car
He was still doing it when I got back0 -
Unbelieveable child!
I already have iema and do environmental a lot already and have a lot of experience with 14001, management systems and permitting.0 -
As I left em on their doorstep we are having a jumping, stomping screaming session.
I'm more quality and safety done some stuff around 14001 but not got as much knowledge as I would like.
He's 2 he can open the window, she was nowhere to be seen, what if he falls out?0 -
Oh dear, wouldn't that be a shame?!?!?! ( Is that terrible of me? Not the kids fault, but the parents might learn a lesson about poor supervision of child if he did)
I started in quality/technical, moved to HS and then to environment, doing fire and food safety along the way. If you ever have any environmentally Q's just fire away. I have got to do some cool stuff in my time and see some amazing places that you wouldn;t normally have access to otherwise. A few years back I was doing H&S audits and fire inspections around the Cambridge university colleges and got to see all the catacombs and secret passages and the "oh so typical" English professor studies and nooks and crannies in the old buildings etc and that was pretty cool - H&S and fire risk nightmare - but super cool buildings. Had to do a risk assessment for public boat burning - that was one I hadn;t been asked for before!!!0 -
Hope everything is all right with you, mellymoo and that your appointment goes well tomorrow.

They have also told the police we are just reporting asb to get a move and upstairs we reported them which led to the crackhead trying to smash down our front door to get at my husband.
HA response was 'what do you think set that off' my reply isn't repeatable
OH is now scared0
