    Morning all,

I'm trying to have a resting day today, which I know is very self indulgent! I have been on school holidays for two weeks and have been busy working and cleaning everyday, but I feel guilty for sitting still so will post my list and may potter around and do a few bits.

    Friday - Master Bedroom
    15 minutes....
Put away as much as you can that is out of place
    30 minutes...
    Change the bedding
wipe the window ledge and the dressing table/chest of drawers
    Wash any really dusty ornaments
    Got an hour....
Sort through your summer tops, any to rehome
30 minutes me time you deserve it
    Extras
Eat one last frog for the week
    Do a good deed

    Also could do with:-
    - doing the food shopping
    - doing the animal food shopping
    - go the gym
    - walk the dogs (if the weather improves)
    - clean the garden
    - unload and reload the DW
    - S&S the kitchen

Looks like a quiet day again then ;)

I was so ahead at the beginning of the week. Nowt done Tuesday and then got a call from work to pick up dd2 who had the runs from school. 48 hours off here so we've been at home. Have managed to keep up with the washing, done a meal plan and shopping list and hoovered throughout.

DD2 wants to do some painting today so will set her up with that and then do a quick dw empty and reload, put a wash on and my challenge today is to tackle the 3 bathrooms!

Have just been subjected to Disney Frozen yet again....I wish she would 'let it go' lol!

    Mornin!

We've been up to town (again) and collected rest of DD prescription. Also went to library. They have 2 books each, even found a dragon one as per DS request. DD is tired so we are having a sofa snuggle and eating hula hoops :D

Bit damp out today, but I've collected laundry ready for after school. Need to pack for kids sleepover. Might have a nanna nap if DD is up for it ;)

How often do you clean your skirting boards, walls and window frames? My door frames, skirtings and banisters need a really good clean. Can you suggest a cleaner for tough marks? One cleaner for the whole house maybe. Tips on motivation. It needs doing but on my days off I just chill out and I could use my time off getting the house clean x

When I can't stand the filth any longer. Other Flyladies are good, clean people and I am a lazy slattern. However, the standard of general cleanliness and tidiness as improved significantly here since I started hanging around with these fabulous people, so there's hope for me yet.

My suggestion: a microfibre cloth, a bucket of hot water and a spray bottle of fla$h-type liquid (Wilko's or Sainsbobsm 12p) and some elbow grease. If that won't shift it, j!f type liquid (same source, probably 25p for the value brand) but it requires rinsing = more work = avoid if at all possible.

Motivation - hang around here. Sooner or later you'll do something that surprises you and realise it's nowhere near as difficult or hard as you had thought to get amazing results except my skirting boards, door frames and paintwork generally. I spend enough of my time on my knees working on the carpets and uncarpeted floors.
    Better is good enough.

Soothing and healing vibes for spotty ones.

I've spent an hour in the kitchen cleaning, sorting, making yoghurt and bread and I've got another hour of loading the car, tidying generally, CS dropping off, bottles into the boot, and then, happy days, I'm being taken out for lunch. Laters.
    Better is good enough.

I've just sorted DS cupboard - some too small stuff ready for CS, some winter stuff in the top shelf box and got his summer duvet out for when I next change his bed. He now has a selection of stuff to cater for all weathers, within easy reach. I'll do DD the same I think... Then mine later (not looking forward to that job)

Have done a biccy kit for granny. DS said he wants to bake at theirs. She makes a mean scone but apparently no good at biscuits. So I've got a little tub together with weighed out ingredients in sandwich bags, his favourite cutters and some mini smarties to top them off. I've even written down what order to mix and how long to bake for ;)

Just having a spot of lunch then will empty [STRIKE]DD[/STRIKE] DW and go pack a few bits.
